I know that this flies against the opinion of this forum. But I doubt that any of the major implant models will get you more girth than in your youth. I think the manufacturers are wary of tunica damage. IE the pump design won't generate enough pressure to overcome the strength of the tunica. Just way too much liability involved.
I had a discussion with my dr about the pressures that a man could expect to get with a pump. He claimed that the pressure is noticable less than what was used in a common quoted study.
Bottom line. The manufacturers want you to have an erection suitable for sex. They don't care about increasing your girth. If the public misreads their literature. So be it.
hi gt1956, I know that with every type of implant the dick goes from round to oval, or rather wide/horizontally, do you think that with your ams cx it is rounder or more oval/wide? I have a Titan and it seems thin and flat compared to my natural cock, now I'm about to switch to an AMS CX

My dick is more round than flat. The answer is not from my implant. I had alot of girth to begin with. All that original girth helps hide the cylinders.

Re: Titan or ams?
considering that the titan expands more than a cx I believe that with a cx the result should be more rounded than a titan, since when I inflate up to 70% even with the titan it is rounder, but at 70% it bends while I have sex and I couldn't use it, I've read several times that the cx cylinders expand less

I thought I saw a video from Dr. Eid that said the opposite..... BECAUSE the Titan was girthier, the 2 cylinders would kinda meet at the middle as they expand and push the urethra down forming a rounder erection. I don't think I'm mis-rembering what I saw . It's been awhile since I saw it . I kinda agree with your opinion though... it would seem to make sense that the titan being slightly bigger would cause a wider flatter erection. I solve that problem with a VED. Pulling blood into the penis and glans

Re: Titan or ams?
From some users I know:
Titan - bad tube, excellent erection, dog ear flaccid
AMS - bad cylinder, excellent flaccid
Dr. Eid:
"The AMS silicone cylinders are more fragile than the Bioflex Coloplast cylinders and are the most likely cause of failure of this brand of implant. Failure occurs because of repeated bending of the deflated cylinders at the location of folds and not at the point where the cylinders are connected to the non-inflatable proximal portion. The Coloplast tubing that connects the cylinders to the pump is the Achilles heel of this penile device brand. The tubing is outsourced and not manufactured in-house, is not as good as the AMS tubing and is prone to fracture after 10 to 15 years of use. Penile pump malfunction is rare. Both AMS MS (momentary squeeze) pump and the Coloplast “Touch” pump are extremely reliable and on rare occasion, the pumps will jam in the deflation mode and will require a very, very forceful squeeze to activate the device. This has occurred more often with the Coloplast pump than with the AMS pump. The reservoirs almost never fail. The Coloplast reservoir has a built-in lockout valve which prevents backflow into the cylinders preventing auto inflation."
