How did the surgery turn out? I'm a little bit leary of the Canadian drs as I feel they are not preforming many implants

i was never worried about not having a volume doctor do it
some times a person thats good but takes his time does a far better job at doing it right and dosent have the god complex that some appear to have

I kinda agree, ideal would be someone with years of experience, specialized in doing the surgery with a good attitude like you mention. In every aspect of life, mechanic, computer work etc…. The general mechanic doesn’t usually rebuild motors, a technical support rep doest build out your data center, you call in the specialist.

That's a really good point. Did you have your surgery with Dr Campbell? He did my doppler last year

my only complaint was i was never given any instructions pre or post surgery so it was a good thing i found this board before hand. so i assume he assumes we all have google

i own a large autopro mechanical service center and all my mechanics are paid by the hour and not by flat rate. this is unusual in the automotive industry but i find my guys turn out better quality work with almost no returns and we get a lot of dealer customers here to fix there fuck ups.

with a large staff the guy with the most knowledge gets the job or supervises and trains the others so i used that logic when going shopping for myself

I'm a European American living in the South Pacific. I'm scheduled for my ams700 glx 12th July by Dr Rohit Krishna in New Delhi.

I wanted to thank you for sharing your experience, and I have decided to start my own journal in case there are others who self-pay or "self-insure". Most members or FT seem to have proper insurance and easy access to top notch US urologists, so I (personally) find that the stories of foreign doctors resonate with me.

I will be kept in the hospital for 48Hrs following the surgery, then in an adjacent hotel for another 8 days. Dr Krishna has never had any infections or complications. He did a WA call and has answered all questions and concerns in a very professional manner.

While I am sure you have done your research, I am not sure your doctor is a good choice. He is a plastic surgeon and NOT a urologist. While I am not the correct person to comment on someone’s surgical skill, I don’t think a surgery as important as this should be left to someone who is not a specialist. I hope it all works out well for you. Imo Turkey is a better place for 3pc implant surgery if cost constraints exist. India is good for malleable implants. Fyi, I live in New Delhi and have experience of dealing with doctor’s here first hand (But not your doctor)

It cost my about $7000 including the cost of the implant and a 3 day stay at the hospital. I stayed at a near hotel Park Inn which was about 5 mins walk, there was another $1000 or so excluding the food. I stayed in Istanbul 7 days after my surgery and 2 days before

+1 to Atul, I googled about the doctor you mentioned and he is a plastic surgeon and not a urologist. While I am no one to comment on your doctors credentials, I would much rather choose a urologist who has performed a substantial amount of penile implant surgeries (300+) for your procedure.
