My surgeon didn’t even look at me prior to surgery and couldn’t assess with caverject due to previous priamisms caused by the caverject. My surgery was a cancellation so I didn’t have time to think but obviously my main concern was size post surgery as I had already lost a lot over the last 4 yrs with Ed, then pyeronies and priapisms. I asked my surgeon the day of my op as I had read that I would not get to the same erect size pre op (the day before) not years prior. I was concerned I would be left the size of stretched flaccid which was much smaller than partially erect. He reassured me this was not the case. Having been unbandaged, swelling gone I am now in trauma and suicidal as I have lost over 2” in length plus a lot of girth. Started cycling and it doesn’t even get as hard as I was partially the day previous to my op. Please tell me this isn’t what I am left with moving forwards ? Already considering getting a loan and having a revision done as I feel like I have been substantially undersized ?
Was your surgeon an experienced implanter? What size implant was used? What were your measurements edect prior? Fill out a signature so more people can help answer your questions. It’s very common to be an inch or more short and much smaller in girth immediately after surgery. I was a little over an inch short and gained back all I lost and some additional girth. Don’t freak out yet… give it time. By 6 months I was maybe 1/4 or a little more short still and by 10-11 months was fully back. It happens so slow it’s difficult to see day to day. Go to the search and put in words like short or regaining length and you can read for hours about others who have had the same feelings your having! Heck… I knew I would be short and it would take time but I still had that sinking feeling when it was over an inch short!! If you used a qualified surgeon you should be just fine.
Thanks for coming back to me. I was 6.3/4” the day prior. Not sure about how much experience my surgeon has, as stated this was a cancellation and after years of suffering with Ed I have struggled mentally and was that desperate I jumped straight in. Not that I was interested in flaccid length I was under the impression I would be more or less the same length 6.3/4” flaccid post op give or take 1-2cm but would then be able to gain a full erection of around the same size.
I really was beginning to lose all hope until I read this thread, hopefully I can get back to somewhere near my pre op size. I have started cycling and the results fully pumped are very disappointing with regards to hardness is this something that will also get better over time in your experience ?
48 yrs old, 3yrs Ed, priapisms, peyronies.
