LGX 700 Life Expectancy? 1,872 cycles on mine.
My question is for you guys who have WORN OUT your LGX 700. I read alot about 3-18 month revisions due to defects or surgeon issues. I'm now 9yrs in and use it at least 4 times per week. Doing the math that's at least 1,872 uses, I'm probably closer to 2,000. I've heard all the "in the lab" stats. I'm looking for other "in the dick" experiences. Should I be expecting a blow-out soon? I keep 2-3 pumps in to avoid dog ears, which I hear is a point of failure. Anything more (other than stop using it) that could extend its life expectancy?

Wow - congrats, nine years is a great run!
My doc said I should be good for 10 years, I seem to remember other members here saying their doc's suggested 10 years is about the lifetime of the LGX as well.
I wouldn't change a thing if I were you. You're obviously not abusing the unit if you got nine years out of it, so you are safe to assume you are doing most things perfectly. Go on with your bad self, if you end up needing a revision - so be it.

Coloplast used to have on its web site somewhere that the Titan cylinders were good for up to I cannot remember how many millions of cycles and 3 times more than the 700 cylinders. I did a lot of dividing and came up with about the number you are at per week. Of course that is just the maximum number of cycles the cylinders can survive and there are other components.
I would just use it as much as you want. If it does wear out get another one if you want to. No telling when something might happen to change your life. Enjoy it while you can.
Injections failed. Implanted 3-21-18 AMS 700 LGX 21 + 1 RTE 100 cc reservoir 6.5" L 5" G Dr. Kramer.

I have never had any problems with the cylinders. What has failed on my three time implants are the pumps. My first implant was an AMS Ultrex and it lasted 15 years, 2nd revision was a LGX with an MS valve which lasted only, I believe ten months, so another revision to replace the valve, but the specialist said that the cylinders were too short and ended up doing a complete revision. I have not had anymore problems with the third revision, but I do leave like two or three pumps all the time in the cylinders because I know that if you drain the cylinders all the way, the valve will stick and that is what happened on the second revision. The valve an MS was still new, but I could not get it to break lose. So by leaving two or three pumps it always works good.

Junk, I’m at 31 months out and all is good. Now that my wife is taking HRT Therapy, we’re between 3 to 4 times a week.
I have the 18cm LGX with 3cm rear tips and I’ve never had dog ears, my flaccid looks natural. What size LGX do you have?

I jack off all the time and keep mine with 5-6 pumps in it all the time. I estimate 2200 cycles on mine.

Hi Raychez, you said you did revision to replace the valve. But did you notice that the cylinders were too short? was there a problem when having sex with the position in your glans? And did you notice any benefit with the bigger implant later? How many Cm did the doctor add?
I ask because I am having a similar problem where the cylinder does not reach my glans

in this 9 years you always had 2-3 pumps even at night to avoid dog ears?

Re: LGX 700 Life Expectancy? 1,872 cycles on mine.
I'm about 5 3/4 years in and cycle nearly every day, lately, every day and occasionally twice. I guess maybe 2k cycles.
I asked my wife yesterday if she thought I have a sex problem. She said one a day is enough for her, and didn't think I have a problem.
Life is good, and I owe so much to the implant. I know I've been a lucky guy.
