Seems I neglected to update everyone who took the time to reply. On the medical issue I am having it is pancreatic cancer. An oncologist was not called in. A surgeon was. Seems they do not have the success of killing pancreatic cancer with Chemo and radiation that they do with other cancers. The best hope is to catch it early enough and cut out a lot. Called a Whipple surgery. Remove the head of the pancreas, gall bladder, duodenum, and part of the stomach. May even be some vein and artery involvement. Then reconnect things different. I go in this Friday the 12th for the surgery. They gave me information on a feeding tube Monday when I went in to pre-register. Not sure if or for how long I will have that.

As far as the MRI goes, I did go back through my medical stuff and found where I had a full back MRI in 2021 that would have my implant in it. The lumbar section would be as low as was needed for the abdominal MRI. It was done by an imaging center away from any of the hospitals.

I needed an MRI for spinal issues. Some of the machines are more sensitive. I needed to get the scan done by a hospital machine.

I just figured that the hospital machines could be adjusted but that is just required extra time. And they had to pay someone to adjust the machine. At best would be same money but would take longer and cut down on the number of scans that could be done and charged for. Most likely your guys just divide the procedures up so that there is very little or no adjusting. You just go to whoever is doing that scan setting.
