Postby ams700xxx » Wed Jul 24, 2024 7:25 am

Hi, I'm really close to go implant surgery and I have a question to you implanted brothers. How much the implant like ams 700 impact your everyday life like a work, bicycling can you do squats? And is it safe take tanning and swim with lakes (Infektion risk)?
Born1984 fit guy from Europe, back surgery and pain medicine caused a bad vl, using shots. All sex with injections at the moment. Considering to go ipp ams 700 surgery in the future...(public health care. I don't know the ams700 model or the surgeon)

When you are all healed up you can drop anything you did before, I know cycling took me about 3-4 months, but after that all was fine. I wouldn't go into any water until I was completely healed, none, only the shower and even then use antibacterial soap.

It's not affected at all.
I can work, do squats, bicycle ....you name it.
The only thing I would not recommended is impact sports.(Boxing, MMA, Tackle football)

Remember, you have new parts in you that can break.
Tanning and swimming should be fine as long as your body has healed.

Good luck.

There should be no issue once you heal up to do almost anything. As mentioned, contact sports might be good to avoid.
Took me about six months to feel good enough to do most everything, although I don't bike or lift weights. By one year out the implant was just part of me, hardly remembered it was there except when using the bathroom (or sex :D ).

I second all their thoughts too. I'm almost 4 weeks out of my surgery. I healed fast & was cleared to get back in the gym at 12 days post op. Surgeon said to start lightly & ease back in. I'm only doing machines for leg day currently but feel great. Last week I played full court basketball with a big group for 2 hours. Sore legs & feet the next day but just normal stuff. I don't cycle much but for cardio I go ham on the stair climber or walk uphill on the treadmill & both are already normal. I have a titan 25cm- only difference to me now is I can feel I have a bigger flaccid & have a bulge I didn't use to have, but mine hangs down at 5:00ish so just looks like I got a big D & honestly feels nice- it's just over 6.75" bone pressed while flaccid. I have no complaints with athletic restrictions & I'm highly active & not even 4 weeks out so it's much better than I thought cuz I love to work out & play softball, bball, etc.
I was also cleared to swim at my 2 week post op as we were visiting my sister that week in AZ where it was 110° so that was nice. I just made sure to shower after but my incision was closed & looked good already. I've been doing red light therapy for 2 weeks with permission as well so I'm sure tanning is fine but I'd ask your Dr just in case.
I know results vary for recovery but mines been pretty smooth, knock on wood- I wish you luck luck man!

Did your first implant last 27 years??

Your signature says, the first implant was in ‘97 and next one in ‘23
