I’m 79 and was implanted in October of 23. Prostate cancer in June if 2019, radiation completed in November. Erections were already waning. Tried viagra. Back pain and headaches but no help with erecting. Tried trimix. Minimal results pushed me into check out implants. This has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, except for marrying the love of my life.
The healing was a tad gnarly and certainly not a pretty sight, but eight months later, I’m like a teenager with newfound toy! We don’t indulge ourselves as often as we’d like, but it’s pleasurable when we do. I’m all about pleasing her sexually. I’m not able to have orgasms in the vagina yet, so I finish myself off manually by hand, or occasionally with a FleshLite masturbator afterwards, or at other times when she isn’t available. Yes, even 79 year old fellas still Jack off! I’ve always jacked off throughout my 61 years of marriage, and have no plans of stopping!

Thank you for your response. We both have experienced problems with prostate cancer, radiation, and erection medications. Your post has been very inspiring for me to schedule my implant. Like you, I love to masturbate; even though I cannot ejaculate, my orgasms are body-shaking, and I love that. I'm looking forward to being able to stroke my hard dick to orgasm! Thank you!

I am now 73. Married 50 years. I got the AMS 700 CX 21 cm. I was implanted in April 2023. I had a rough recovery with lots of swelling. I was very satisfied with the results. I had a good reaction from the wife up until the last month. We are having a major disagreement right now, but it has nothing to do with sex or the implant.

I think my marriage of 50 years is over. We will see what life changes will happen next.
I would recommend the implant to any man.

74 Years of Age

Postby georgeftmyers » Sun Jul 28, 2024 11:47 am

I had my penile implant AMS700 this past January 2024. Recovered without any problems (the first two weeks appeared the most trying but bearable). Very happy that I made the decision to have an implant after pills and pumps did nothing for me anymore. No more failing erections!

Thank you. I'm going to schedule a surgery appointment soon. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Tomcat:
Your signature line is not clear if you have the implant yet. I think your before and after measurements are from prostate treatment. Correct?
My implant surgery is scheduled for 9/12/2024.

I can attest that size loss is a big hit to a man’s psyche. I highly advocate VED therapy for maintaining what you have and to potentially recover some of what has been lost to atrophy.

Good luck and best wishes for you moving forward.
Please keep us updated on your progress.
I turn 67 in September 2024. I’m not 70 yet but close enough to visit this topic.

And for any man curious about TRT, it can be life changing. Don’t hesitate to reach out to a qualified endocrinologist, not all of them are proficient treating men’s hormones. Personally, I would avoid men clinics. There’s way more involved than just testosterone lab values.
Implanted 9/12/2024 at age 67; Vertical Penoscrotal approach with separate reservoir incision; Dr Allen Morey, McKinney, Texas; Coloplast Titan XL 26 cm base cylinder-no RTE, Genesis pump, 125 cc reservoir. Near McKinney, Texas, married 42 years.

Hi. Im 72 and getting my second revision with in 3 years. Long story short the coloplast/titan hasn't been good luck for me. Anyway, l would suggest you go for the implant and enjoy having a working penis again. First time recovery was tough for about 2 weeks. Revision recovery not bad at all
Good luck
ED for number of years. Used pills and Quadmix. Venous leakage too much to overcome. IPP is only solution to my issue.Coloplast Titan 18cm+3cm RTE's on June 20,2022....Revision September 11,2023. Second revision September 9,2024 20+3

Tomcat
I am 71, in good shape, gym daily.
Had my implant done 17 days ago. I went into this thinking I would be done and back at it in two weeks.
Not the case. I am still dealing with pain, a couple pain meds each day. I did walk a mile (good tempo) on the 14th day and the 16th day, paid for it with a good bit of pain and a lot of ice.
I am recovering that I can tell but certainly not as quickly as I had hoped.
I have not had a WTF have I done moment and I am praying for and optimistic of a good ending result.
I have read a lot a posts on FT and suspect I have several weeks in front of me but I am confident.
Difficult decision to make but what is the alternative? I decided not to sit around with ED when my sex drive was still there but my ability to perform was not.
Thanks,
JK

My wife and I will be married 64 years next Monday.

She has always had a high sex drive, and mine is slightly higher. I think that's the way it should be, I think.

She seems to love my penis, and it is all me except for the implant.

We go through a seduction ritual each morning and it always leads to sex, except on golf days lol.

T shots also enter into the equation, and even with low grade prostate cancer, life is worth living this way.
Let's hope this scenario continues for a while.
