Pump location

Postby INDIANA BONES » Tue Jul 30, 2024 11:23 pm

My pump is located at the front of my scrotum and the block long side is facing front and rear. Surgeon said she would do revision to place at rear of scrotum but it would be harder to access to pump. I would also have the Tenacio pump at the same time. Anybody have their pump at rear of scrotum?

Mine hangs low in scrotum. Not sure what you mean by front and back. Give it time and see if you or it adjusts to feeling better over time. Always some risk involved when you have an additional surgery. Unless it’s very bothersome I personally wouldn’t touch it.

If the implant works why mess with it? My pump tends to turn from the side to the front. That doesn't bother how it works.

Sharp corner of pump block rests against base of penis, front of scrotum, and incision position. Intermittent deflation issue and interested in new easier to operate pump. Implant was installed March of 2022.

My pump is in the rear (behind my testicles) and very low. I have low hangers, and the pump is the lowest. When cold and my scrotum tightens up my pump will lay sideways in the bottom of my scrotum as the tubing is too long. My doctor was known for long tubing and low position pump. My pump is easy to move between my testicles to the front to pump and deflate. Then moves back when I am done. Not that I really cared but this is concealed for those who are concerned about that.

As was posted every surgery has a risk of infection with it. And infection is a really big problem with penile implants. At best you will have some size loss and months with a malleable before an attempt to replace the inflatable. That is 2 more surgeries and the costs that go along with it.

I am not recommending the surgery nor am I recommending not having the surgery. Just posting information for you to consider. Good luck with this.
