Question for the community:
On the underside of the base of the shaft of my penis after the implant I have no separation between my scrotum and the base of my penis. Is this normal? Its very firm from the base of the penis all the way to the pump. This makes sex difficult. I cannot place a finger between the implant and the scrotum without major resistance. Thanks in advance

Re: Access to base of penis / implant
Not sure if I'm understanding you correctly. But my implant goes deep into my scrotum. Or mYbe just above it. But I can feel the implant through my scrotum. Pump is just below implant.
69 yr old. Implanted 01/17/2024. Dr Clavell in Huston. Coloplast Titan XL 26 cm cylinders with 1 cm RTE. Lost only1/4" now 8" x 6" . Happy with reliability.

Best way for me to ask it - Can you fit your hand or a few fingers under your penis between the pump and the base of your dick?

I'll use an illustration.
The area where the red arrow is - feels like a hard wall instead of something soft with just tubing. It feels as if my scrotum is now physically attached to my dick so now the lower part of dick cannot be accessed by my hand or during sex because it is inseperable.9/2022: Implanted with 22 + 3cm RTEs Rigicon Infla10AX overseas. Yes there's going to be a bundle of hard tubing in that space now

Every man's anatomy is different, so it may be due to his specific anatomy that this is the case. For me, the pump is low and behind my testicles, there is zero difference between how that area felt prior to the implant to how it feels with the implant. It may be the sizing of the implant itself, where the tubes come out of the cylinders that is causing the issue. This is why doctors use rear tip extenders, or in some cases trim the end, to move the tubing connection (which cannot change) more distally or proximally depending on the man's anatomy.
If the tubing coming off the cylinders it too far distally, then you get visible tubing at the base of your penis or this "bundle of hard tubing" you can feel where the arrow is in the picture.
I believe that optimal placement of the pump is low and to the rear, not high and in front. Dr. Clavell placed mine low and rear, and after confirming with me that I was right handed, even rotated the pump a little so that my right thumb naturally lands on the button with my wrist comfortably straight.

Curious on anyone else that experienced this or knows how this plays out? I'm very early post op but as swelling is subsiding I have noticed that wall between the scrotum and bottom of shaft which is a bit over an inch from the top portion bone pressed.
