Is it time for an implant?

I'm 34, realised I had ED with my first ever partner at 30, was on pills for a few years until they gradually stopped, then injections (Caverject (Until there was a shortage), now viridal duo). I have noticed the injections are gradually slowly not working as good as it once did. I'm nervous but hopeful of implants and not sure if it's my next step or should I be trying different injections? I heard of Invicorp and how it's better, so going to attempt the invicorp. I live in London UK.

I don't even know the root cause of my ED. Urologists have not done any tests on me other than my bloods which came back normal (T levels are just in range of OK). So am I coming to the end of injections and most likely going to need an implant?

Having said all that, injections are slowly not working so the next step is the implant I guess, what steps do I take other than speaking to a urologist? Is there a good place to go see different implants and the benefits etc? I literally know very little about them.

What concentration of Viridal Duo are you using and how many units are you injecting? I'm not in the UK, but I've been working my way through various strength injections from BiMix to TriMix, to Super TriMix, and now Quadmix.

I think if you can tolerate the injections, it's worth exhausting that avenue. It looks like Invicorp drops the Alprostadil and uses two different drugs. Alprostadil seems to be the heavy hitter, but don't discount synergistic effects.

This video has good detail on all the ED modalities including a good overview of impants. Certainly this site has a ton of info. Read through the accounts men give of their problems even if it does not match yours exactly. You'll find answers to questions you have not yet thought of.

Same as I used for Caverject which was 20mcg i believe.

Just to clarify something my Dr told me. When you have to go up in strength and or up in dose of a tri,quad,mix injection it’s not that our bodies are getting immune to it. The fact is that your issue causing ED to start with(usually venous leak)is getting worse which is a natural progression of this issue. Some men find a good dose and seems they can stay at that dose for years. I on the other hand went from 6units to 10-12-14-….. all the way to 80 units over a 6-8 month period. And would still fail at times. My Dr said at this point my leak was getting worse at a fast rate and I was a great candidate for an implant. Still took several months to be seen by implant Dr and set up surgery and it was at the end of Covid so almost didn’t happen at all. I used injections for about 16 months before implant and have loved it more and more ever since! Best decision! Been 27 months now and going strong.
