According to my doc and the BS rep, cycling should be done 3x a day, but just once each time. Pump it up, stay erect for 10 minutes, then deflate. That's it. But do it 3x a day. After a couple of weeks, add 5 minutes to the erect time.

You don't need to pump, deflate over and over for 30 minutes....at least that is what I was told. A huge relief when I was told this as opposed to some of the "information" spread on this forum. But, each doctor has different methods.
ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.

This thread is so interesting. Every Doctor has a different way apparently. My doctor at UM Health has purportedly done about 5,000 implants. At two weeks post surgery his Nurse Practicioner pumped me to check overall recovery. They told me DO NOT PUMP UNTIL 6 WEEKS POST SURGERY. This was different from my buddy who had Dr. Perito install his and at two weeks told him to start pumping and using.

When NP pumped at two weeks it was not uncomfortable, even though I still had signs of minor bruising in my scrotum. First night I used half a pain pill. After that I used Extra Strength Tylenol once in a while. Biggest Pain was in sensitivity in my scrotum. All around seemed very sensitive for perhaps two weeks gradually lessening over the next two more weeks. I did notice lots of sensitivity to my foreskin as it was fully retracted behind the glans all the time. NP told me I needed to force it to an unretracted position. I said it had always been retracted since I was 10 years old due to constant infections and never stayed up on my foreskin. Apparently since the rods inserted to hold the fluid were always a somewhat solid silicone or plastic material, after surgery it kept my foreskin from being able to naturally squeeze my flacid dick to a comfortable level. A couple of years previousy I had become more and more sensitive to prolong sex sessions and developed soreness afterwards with my foreskin. Urologist at that point prescribed an antifungal ointment that seemed to help a little. In any event, after the first two week visit I did try to keep foreskin in an unretracted position and after several days was more or less successful in keeping it over the Glans. Finally at 6 week checkup, NP taught us how to pump and deflate. I was a little disappointed at the size, but proud to have a stiff dick again that stayed stiff. My dick did look small. The Glans was much smaller than ever before. I mentioned this to the NP and he said that will be the size and not anything to be done about it. I begin cycling 3 times a day up to an hour each time. My dick seemed to get bigger in the length department. Not much change in Glans size from the rest of my dick at 5.5"Girth whether inflated or not. Sex the first time was MAGNIFICENT. My worries about size were somewhat for naught as my wife said she could feel me fine albeit it was obvious Glans was smaller than the 6.25"G previously attained. I had also used the VED pump and could get the length to 7" on a good day and the Girth continued to be 6.25". She admittedly loved that but said how I was now was still very good. She could sit on top of me for 30 minutes and my dick never deflated. She could use her little bullet on her clit while sitting on me and could have many orgasms. So life was seemingly mighty fine. After play time I used the OTR button with right hand and gently squeezed my dick with left hand and deflated my dick. I noticed my foreskin was very sore to touch. This soreness continued for days. At my 9 week post surgery appointment with Surgeon, he told me I in fact did need a circumcision (My primary care doctor had told me 10 days previously, he thought a circumcion was necessary and I needed to discuss with Urologist.) Most folks on here probably did not have the foreskin problem I have, so you can skip this discussion part completely. The IPP surgery was so good despite the foreskin problem we wish we had done it 15 years before. For what its worth, my Urologist told me some folks had success with Viagra or Cialis after the IPP surgery to help Glans fill up with blood again. He did say some blood still went to the Glans and Viagra and Cialis helped. Guess what, it does help. We did not measure but my dick Girth yesterday was mighty fine. It may not have been as big as 6.25 but it sure looked it as we enjoyed ourselves. Good luck and happy pumping. One of the very best life decisions every. Had a great surgeon and every day want to hug that old guy.
80 years young. 6.25"L 6.25"girth initially erect without assistance pre-surgery. 7" L with Vacuum Assist. We both love sex in all its varieties. Surgery in May at University of Miami. Now 6.25" L and 5.5" girth post surgery.
