Incision question

Postby Watcher1960 » Tue Aug 20, 2024 7:31 pm

Malleable implant surgery 14 days ago. Swelling and bruising gone. However have hard lump under entire incision site on scrotum. Messaged surgeon but they are less than responsive. Anyone had anything similar? No pus leaking out. Does not appear red. No fever. No red streaks.

Some inflammation due to a reaction to sutures is possible. The hardening could also result from early stage scar tissue formation, as collagen builds up in the area.

Still waiting to go see surgeon. So worried it’s an access or infection.

I've had 3 surgeries for mallabble implants most of them ended up looking like that ..the last one left a hard knot at the end where the stitches were ..only time will tell if it will soften up .. does not look infected my oozed for a few weeks after surgery ..
