Im 36 and I currently have a titan. I already had some revisions. Have you already started to ride? What your doc says about mountain bike with an implant? I have some fears that my early titan tubing failure may be related to cycling.

Unfortunately it makes pretty obvious sense, if tubing failures are caused by repetitive strain cycles on the implant components then any activity which cause a huge amount of continuous movement (10k km cycling is a great example lol) will probably lead to early failure
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

That's why I'm thinking about a malleable for my next revision. Anyway many doctors ( for example eid, Cavell , perito) told me that there are no issues with cycling, Eid and perito told me that they even implanted pro cyclists still in activity without any issue. The all told me that I can continue my cycling habits. I have also read a few members here that are avid cyclist ( one is a competitive triathlete) that have 3 pieces for more than 8/9 years without failure.

So he used the max amount allotted for this cylinder. At the 13 month time frame I totally maxed out in that I ran out of fluid. At this point I was back to my original size plus a little girth more than I had previously ever measured! If you have a reputable Dr he would definitely use the recommended amount of fluid. It is not a guessing game to them it all comes off manufacturers recommendation. Comparing to mine it sounds like you got plenty fluid for yours although we have different brands and sizes. Also it’s not uncommon at all to have uneven measurements from what I’ve read. Most Drs wil either trim a RTE or add one additional to one side needing it. Either way if your Dr is good he will have done what he thought best! At this point worry is your enemy! Stop overthinking it and relax and heal up! Hang in there, in just a few months tho swill all be a bad dream and you’ll be using that thing for its intended purpose!

Did he indicate why he put a larger reservoir as in why not a 100cc if only filled with 78cc?

Yes he put my resivour subcutaneously so just under the outer fat and skin. So said he used a bigger reservoir so it would flatten out more and possibly be less noticeable. The reason he did this is that about 20 years previous to my implant I had double hernia with mesh placed in the area he normally places the reservoir so he was afraid to go thru it. This will be done differently when ever I get a revision. It’s the only thing I don’t like about my implant…. It shows a bulge where the reservoir is. I’ve recently read where Drs can locate the mesh with a sonogram and place tube thru the area without effecting the mesh.

Is the new pump bigger than the old? Does anyone have pictures of the two? Also is the newer one quiet or does it squeak?
