Dr. Clavell is a very talented urologist and surgeon, but he's an even better man. In my 60 years of life I can say you don't very often find a doctor of his talent and caliber that doesn't think they are a gift to humanity. You've got the right guy on the case, good luck.

Just visited Dr. Clavell today he did sound very worried when I walked into the room. He opened his new chamber so he was just setting in what a charming young fellow he never fails to make you feel comfortable. He knows I’m out of pocket and he told me if my device needed a change he would charge me around $5000 because the device has a warranty for about 4 to 5 years. He did pump me up 12 Pumps. He says he can’t detect a proper leak, but he says that after a few Titan does sometimes go flat sometimes there are glitches in the pump he said to try pumping the next couple of days back-and-forth and seeing if the issue still arises. He did check the amount of liquid I have in my reservoir it was 80 cc he says there is enough liquid so he told me if the pump does have a leak. It’s gonna make a much louder noise, but since his office has been relocated and he moved his practice to just by himself, he doesn’t have my paperwork ready he is calling in my paperwork and checking how many CC he did initially put in mine, I will keep you all Updated I was lucky enough to be the first one to sit in his first chamber. I did have my girlfriend go there with me as soon as he got out of the room he did smile at her, giving her a big thumbs up so right now I just have to sit and try the next week to make sure the glitch fixes by itself or else my buddies it’s down the road to surgery, but please keep me in your prayers and wish me luck

Ento, to see you dealing with these problems is heartbreaking. On behalf of the whole HF / LF community I want to wish you all the best and remind you thousands of HF sufferers are now rooting for you! As someone who overcame the problem by having an implant you're pretty much a well-known figure in the community
Seeing a bionic report a device failure after relatively a short time, I always remind myself of handfulWES's posts. I remember Wes reported in 2019 or so he had his implants for close to 30 years and his first device (put in back when he was 42 years old) failed after 9 weeks or so. But the guy never gave up and ended up all good. I hope for the best for you and for things to resolve all by themselves.

Clavell told me, if you self paid, device insurance is for life.
You'll "only" have to pay the surgical / hospital fee which should be around 9-10k.
I could imagine Clavell might even wave his fee because it failed so early for you.

You mean lifetime warranty? How is this possible? Never heard about it for titan or ams, only rigicon

Its a common practice for companies to offer a better warranty at the introduction of a new product. Only to scale the warranty back after a few years. The better warranty is used as a marketing gimmick in order to get product momentum built up. Once sales are going good they don't need the "boost" that the warranty gives their sales.

Rigicon is very aggressive in its marketing, even offering a lifetime warranty on infected devices, regardless of whether there's a mechanical failure.
