I am also in Ontario, Canada. My urologist in Kingston gave me a referal to surgeon in London, Ontario. I met with him on Oct 28, 2013 surgery is scheduled for April 17, 2014.
From what my urologist said there are 2 places in Ontario where inflatable implants are covered by OHIP (London & Ottawa). I believe there are other surgeons doing malleable, which might also be covered.
Where in Ontario are you?

Dr. Steele is my urologist in Kingston, he's amazing; did my slling but isn't doing the implant. From my conversation with him I believe there are only 2 in Ontario that do the inflatable that is covered by OHIP - Dr. Brock in London and Dr. Bella in Ottawa.
What is the reason for your implant - diabetes/prostate cancer....?
Where in Ontario are you located?

I'm in the US not Ontario, a friend of mine up there had Dr. Steele do his implant at KGH but he had to pay for it. From what I hear Steele is one of the best in North America. Which implant are you getting?

Not sure yet which one it will be, he gave me info about both AMS and Titan. Possibly that will be decided at my pre-surgery appointment.
