Aug 22: went for another check up today. Have mild edema which will require tighter dressing on the penis for a while. Everything looks fine to the surgeon, I just have to make sure I’m wearing tight underwear and keep the penis pointed upwards.
Pain - the worst pain for me is around where the pump is, I’m still walking funny and very slowly. Another bummer is that it’s been quite difficult trying to find the right position to sit in, because my scrotum is swollen and enlarged, it hurts to just sit
Going to the washroom is also a chore, trying to pee with my new flaccid/erect state is a challenge if I don’t want to get pee everywhere. I’m probably going to get a pee bucket or just pee in the shower soon.
Things are slowly getting better. I’ve stopped taking prescribe pain meds because it’s causing me to be constipated, so I’ll just stick with Tylenol.
When I go for my final check up tomorrow before I fly out, they might try to cycle it once which I’m really not looking forward to.. but we’ll see.
I still have to sit and lay down a lot for comfort, but I did walk longer than normal.
Dog ear is already present in my flaccid state, doctor mentioned that a lot of patients with the titan keep theirs at 10-20% for it to be more comfortable.

Ibuprofen plus acetaminophen seems to work as a good combination together - sleeping on my side with a big knee pillow helped reduce swelling as well. Also, L-Glutamine plus plenty of protein shakes seem to help the body repair faster. As a funny note, sleeping on my side also kept my cats from accidentally jumping on my crotch. It was probably hysterical from the third person‘s point of view, but it being stepped on though that was painful.

Thanks for the tips I appreciate it! I have a pet as well so that’s a really good idea to sleep on my side.

Aug 27: two weeks post op now. finally made it home from Korea, it's much nicer and comfortable to recover in your own environment.
color is starting to return to the scrotum now, and I started trying to feel around the pump, but my right testicle still seems pretty swollen so its difficult to grab.
got a bucket to pee in, it makes peeing so much easier because of the cathether that was in during surgery.
still walking funny and slow because my sack is 2.5x the normal size right now, and it still hurts to stand for long periods of time. ibuprofen has been been helpful throughout the day.
I'll provide another update once I start cycling 2 weeks from now.
Measurements:
Pre Op Flaccid - 2.5"
Pre Op Erect - 5.25"
Post Op Flaccid - 4"
Post Op Erect - Unknown at the moment, not fully inflated right now.

Almost 4 weeks post op: have been able to manage pain without taking as much tylenol now, theres still swelling and pain, especially when I get nighttime erections and morning wood, but nothing unbearable.
I am running into problems identifying the different parts of the pump. I dont know if it's swelling, scar tissue, hematoma or something else, but the whole pump area just feels like one big lump behind my right testicle, it is impossible to identify the deflate button, and the pump is also very slippery and hard.
Feeling demotivated as most people are cycling at this point, I'm hoping I can start feeling the pump properly soon. I've been watching various youtube videos and my pump doesnt feel anything like that. Also I can feel tubing protuding out of my scrotum on the left side, unsure if it's normal. It could be swelling too that's pushing the tube out, but who knows.

From experience, it sounds like swelling plus hematoma. This sounds exactly like what the symptoms I had were at the same point and time while healing. I was also worried about cycling the pump and everything else. In a way it felt like a psychological nightmare - that stuff will pass. I took a lot of L-glutamine supplements along with protein shakes. Using a knee pillow really helped a lot, something about the gap between the thighs with laying on the side - it seemed to really work for increasing the circulation to get the hematoma out. There is so much deep healing going on right now. I don’t know if you’re walking around, it really helps… but listen to your body. Don’t overdo it with anything physical, please and please don’t rush getting started cycling. If it feels like there’s something in the way, most likely it’s the hematoma from healing and that’s actually a good thing because it will prevent you from early cycling and from experiencing what some of the posts I’ve read of these guys who had sex too early - they made a nightmare for themselves because they basically damaged their body and had to go through emergency revisions. Above all stay positive. Try to fight away the negative thoughts - believe me I went through it very much also.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Yes its definitely gettingt om e psychologically because Im feeling like I'm held back and also not have confirmation on whether this thing works or not. I have been trying to get at least 5k to 10k steps in a day. I'm a few days away from the 4 week mark now and surgeon says 4-6 weeks is usually when everything resolves itself, i'm hoping that's true.
The main concern for me right now is finding and confirming the deflate button because I dont want to start pumping with no help deflating it.
Now I'm a little concern with hematoma that might require surgical intervention again? It definitely feels like a big lump surrounding the whole pump area... I really hope I dont have it.

Re: Documenting my Journey as a 30 year old Asian - Korean Surgeon
If I remember correctly, It was at least week five to week six before the hematoma actually resolved itself. It’s clumped around the apparatus itself. It’s a stubborn thing that it seemed like when I stopped looking for it - one day it was gone. It took about two months to have no swelling. That was because of the swelling underneath the implant behind the testicles that still had to go down.

Hey guys, I stumbled across this looking for answers and found it to be an amazing story. My first question is why Korea ? Is there something unique about having the implant surgery in Korea?
I am really curious about the early cycling. I am 71 years old just had my surgery 15 days ago and dealing with a burning pain that comes on after I'm up and moving around a few hours each day.
My Dr. Won't let me cycle until at least week 4.
My swelling is gone and fortunately it seems I have no hematoma.
I pray that you get well and that this all works out as planned and I trust in God that it will.
PS: I see that one of you guys is a Vet, Thank You and God Bless you for your service!
