First Cycle Post implant

Postby JHealth » Mon Sep 23, 2024 6:07 pm

That was certainly interesting! My Dr. has hands and fingers as big as Man Mountin Dean!
I'm 27 days post surgery and still a few pains and sensitivity but Doc says I am doing good, secures a grip on my scrotum, finds the pump and up he pumps , I'm now hard as a rock, he locates the release button squeezes it while simultaneously squeezing my shaft and deflates.
I'm thinking WTF just happened!
He tells me I'm doing good and can now start cycling and have sex if I feel up to it.
I left his office (in a bit of pain) excited that this thing works.
What's the chances that you go through this decision, procedure, recovery and the day you get turned loose by your Dr. your wife was at the airport and left for the rest of the week
It has been a ride and I did walk right up to the edge of the WTF have I done moment a couple times and I still have some dog ear pains and incision nerve burning pain but I am confident that time will resolve those.
Tks
JK

Yup. That first cycle is like "holy shit" . It scared me when the bulb collapsed. I'm now cycling everyday at least twice a day
Some days I can get more pumps than others.

It's kind of cool being an on demand guy

Madecov,
Thanks for the reply, I see in your signature you had 2 revisions :o I am curious as to why. This being my first implant and I believe (based on posts I've read) that my first few weeks were a bit rougher than average, I wouldn't look forward to having to replace.
PS: I cycled this morning every thing worked fine.
Thanks
JK

Sounds like if your wife is leaving for a week you’ll have to take measures into your own hands a time or two and get the feel of it. If it’s anything like my first and I’m sure most others first, it’s not necessarily a great experience. You’ll be sore and tender and very unsure of yourself. I had fought ED for so many years it’s hard to get your mind around the fact that it will get and stay hard!! It does get better though over the next couple months! Give it a tug and get that thing working!!
59 years old ED started mid 40s pills failed after 10 years. Injections works but diminishing results with pain. Implanted 5-22 Baylor,Scott, and White Dallas.Dr Michael Wierschem, infrapubic Coloplast 20cm and 1cm RTE. Going strong and loving it!
