For me, I am 65 and went from pills to about 5 years of Trimix. Delayed O became a thing after chemo for cancer last year. So "sensitivity" was waning. Got the implant in June and am now just about 4 months post-op. Cycling is working in that my buddy is looking normal now and size is returning.

However, the ability to climax is very difficult. I have, but it takes a lot of work still. When I do, it is great.

So hang in there. You have a lot of life ahead of you. See a good uro and get started on your path to recovery and success. A good uro is key. Stay away from the advertised "men's clinics."

The hardness I never had consistently before makes my whole dick a lot more sensitive during sex. Especially oral.

That's a great, hopeful message. I see other reports that oral is a more reliable way to orgasm, but not for me. My first signs of anorgasmia were when oral failed me and PIV was still effective. I don't know why, especially since blowjobs are very exciting mentally, but I theorize that with PIV I can control the thrusting pace and depth.

It's only 3 weeks since my implant and haven't had sex yet, but before my implant I noticed that the harder I was, the more sensation there was. Hopefully it will be the same with the implant.

Many common medications cause dead dick, especially the ones for depression, anxiety, ADHD, hair loss, allergies, and sleep. Depression and anxiety also do, so it’s hard to win with those. Alcohol and other recreational drugs do too (except cannabis). Also bicycle riding in some cases. And untreated low testosterone.

I feel like I lost quite a bit of sensation for many months due to overuse of a VED for many months pre surgery.

I'd like to understand this better. I don't have an implant (yet) but I'm using a VED for penile rehabilitation for both ED and anorgasmia/sensitivity. But sensitivity is declining so now I have to wonder if the VED is counterproductive.

So if you pump a VED maybe a bit too much pressure it can stretch tissue beyond its normal elasticity causing nerves to stretch and get irritated. Also Drs that suggest using VED will usually say to pump up pressure til you feel a slight stretching and hold for say 5-10 minutes then release and start over. This gives your penis a chance to get fresh oxygenated blood flowing in and then back out as you pump and release. I imagine using timid did some damage as sometimes it wouldn’t seem like enough so I would increase and then have a rock hard aching boner for 4 hours. This definitely causes atrophy and I’m sure nerve damage. I did this several time over the 16 months I used injections.
