I was more comfortable with Nasimi than Rigicon. Nothing against them or the guy I spoke with, Nasimi just seemed more informative and professional. The fact that he works for the hospital with the Dr was a huge factor. Accommodations are 2 days in the hospital then 5 days in a 4 star hotel. Transportation to and from the Dr.

The Rigicon package was about $1500 cheaper but only included the 2 night hospital stay.

Thanks for getting back so quickly. So it looks like you get slightly more with the Medistate package. I am planning on going for my surgery in the next two months there as well. Hope yours goes well.

Are you going for the expandable implant?

Yep. I opted for the expandable 10 AX. I figured...why wouldn't I??? It was an extra $500 but I'll have it for the foreseeable future so...worth it.

Yeah...the Medistate package just seems more comprehensive and accommodating, especially for one traveling from overseas. I'm all set for Monday. I'm excited and hopeful. I'll keep y'all updated.

Day 1!

Postby jakerip » Tue Oct 01, 2024 8:40 am

So, even though I’m feeling anything but that, I am now officially in the bionic brotherhood.

I guess I’ll say surgery day was day 0, so I’m writing this on day 1. Long story short, it sucks. I didn’t imagine the pain being what it has been, but I guess I’ll get to that later.

The plane ride also sucked. I have a bit of a bad back so being in an economy seat for 8 hours did me no favors. It was purely the grace of God, especially considering this oversized guy behind me not allowing my seat to recline.

On top of that, the airline left my luggage in Miami. So, here I am in Istanbul with no clothes! Thankfully, I was set to spend the first few days in a hospital gown anyway, and all my essentials were with me in my carryon.

Nasimi has been wonderful. He’s a genuinely nice guy that really seeks to make you feel comfortable and guides you through the process. He even went out and bought me an outfit and pizza (the hospital food is really bad). It was worth the extra $1500 to have this arranged by him at the hospital instead of direct with Rigicon.

So, I met with Dr. Karaman yesterday a few minutes before surgery. Pleasant guy.

I woke up after surgery and heard him say he went with 22cm + 1 rte. I thought, “that can’t be right!” I don’t know how the math works out over time, but I hope I get back to my 7.5”. I already lost length back when I had the plication, and who knows how much over the time of having ED. I did quite a bit of pumping and stretching to get back to that 7.5” I had just before surgery. I guess time will tell.

I will say the immediate regret came as I started struggling with the pain. I thought, “was this even worth it?” And “maybe I should have just stuck with it as it was”. Yet…none of these thoughts mattered at this point, so I shall press on and pray for the best.

The catheter removal was not fun and neither was trying to pee afterwards. I still don’t have a steady stream of piss. It’s more like cocking a shotgun and shooting over and over (buckshots of piss everywhere).

The pain is subsiding a bit, but there is still an uncomfortable ache in my nuts. I’ll certainly ice when I get back to the hotel. The hotel is nice, by the way.

I’ll be discharged in the morning. I couldn’t imagine leaving tomorrow and thankfully I won’t be. But, who knows, maybe I’ll feel a lot better by then. We shall see.

Not having gone #2 is a bit concerning, but I have my Senekot now that my luggage has arrived, so I’ll take some tonight and hopefully unload tomorrow.

Thank you for sharing it. Hopefully everything will be ok in the end. I’m just as nervous about it as you are and constantly worried about what could go wrong. But I can’t live like this anymore, pills don’t work anymore. I’ll try a pump too to get some size, thanks for the tip. Be strong and think about the fun you’ll have in 2-3 months

Thank you sir! If the pills have stopped working, then you're in the same boat me and these other guys have been in. The pump for size is definitely a good thing. Dr Hakky even told me it helps with recovery somehow. Best wishes to you man.

Day 2!

Postby jakerip » Wed Oct 02, 2024 4:44 pm

I'm now day 2 post surgery. Of course, I won't do this everyday, but I hope these help someone. I don't see many posts on here about Dr Karaman and their experience with Rigicon devices. I got the Rigicon Infla 10ax. Supposedly, over the course of a year it will increase at least 1cm beyond whatever you measured at during surgery. I'm hopefully, but honestly, I just want to get back to where I was. I really don't care about increasing. I just want a restoration of size and, of course, function.

Dr Karaman came and removed the drainage tube today. Quite a bit of coagulated blood gets sucked out by that thing. He said it will help prevent swelling. My actually unit is definitely swollen. I have dark skin so I can't tell if it's bruised or not, but I'd imagine it would be lol. It's pumped up to 50% and will be for the next month until I'm able to start cycling. This month will suck for sure. It's hard to hide and painful to bend or angle in certain ways. I'll be on the search for double pleated dress pants when I get back home. I'm not sure, but I feel like it may still have some life left when I get turned on. I saw some woman today and felt something going on down there. I shut it down because it hurt. I don't want anymore pain than I'm already in.

Rigicon is not the easiest company to deal with as I have found out with my implant as far as information and contacting.

So you have a Rigicon. Are you happy with it? You stated problems contacting them, why?
1955. I have had ED for years. We are going for a Rigicon Infla10 in October. Life got in the way (heart attack), so we are now going for Trimix as a fill-in.

It works for anal sex and you can knock on a door or ring a doorbell how hard to you want it?

Thanks for the updates, please continue to post them, they help a lot. I hope you don’t lose any cm, but in my opinion, for my own example I rather would have a functional penis that is 14cm than one that is 16cm but doesn’t work and failed me so many times. May I ask what pump did you use? There are so many options on the market I’m a little lost
