when you don't choose a world-class penile surgeon...
Born 1956. Peyronies + venous leak. Implanted 12/12/23 Dr. Clavell penoscrotal. Proximal = 10cm, right distal = 12.5cm, left distal = 12cm due to Peyronies. 1 0.5cm RTE on the right. 125CC reservoir filled with 110ml saline. Titan OTR.

Personally I would stay away from cosmetic penile enhancements. Yes, the surgeon is of top importance
Born 6/15/74. I have substantial venous leak with fairly severe hour-glassing, but no hard plaques. My urologist is sexual health expert Dr. Laurence Levine who performed a Doppler Ultrasound and diagnosed me with VL in 2020. I also have mild BPH

FYI the implant referred to in the article is not the same kind of implant we generally discuss on this forum. They're talking about the Penuma implant
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side

Poor surgeons, they just can't win!
One day it's "He oversized me," the next it's "He undersized me!"
And don't forget, "He’s low volume, that’s why my implant broke down!"
They’re probably just waiting for the day someone blames them for the weather too

Having been trying to do some research on some type of filler for girth after my implant. this scares me.
Radical Prostatectomy in 2015; failed pills, straight to Coloplast Titan in 2019 by Dr. Valenzuela in NYC, Replaced with AMS 700 CX in 2022 by Dr. Darshan Patel in San Diego, CA. Wish I jumped to an implant even before prostate cancer!

ragingbull ... How about a surgeon does so many that they get complacent in doing the surgeries or relies on students and residents to do many surgeries? Undersize ..oversize .. is it all the luck of the draw or the skill and talent of the surgeon? .. I think so many factors go into the equation of getting an implant sometimes it becomes the perfect storm in some cases when problems arise ..

Yes, this unfortunately happens a lot even for other surgeries in university hospitals.

I truly believe that if one is under or oversized, the surgeon was incompetent.
It's not rocket science: measure 2 things, add them, and implant cylinders and rtes to equal the meaurements.
You should be given notes showing the measurements and what was implanted. That's what I got from an under the radar surgeon.

Still to this day I can't find any pictures of an erect penis with either the filler or the silicone implant. I don't see how the fuller works when you're not beating injected at full staff. With the ability to post anonymously, I don't know why there aren't more pics.
