You should use prophylactic antibiotics, like on every surgery, there can be an infection after and infection, wherever in your body is always a risk for your implant.

I take half tablet Trimethoprim 200 mg each day for 5-6 days around any surgery.

One doctor said to avoid any major dental work 6 months before and after any surgery. My dentist said the same.
Doubt at 10 months you'll have any problems, but still not a bad idea to take some precautions. I had a tooth extracted and new lower partial made after my implant, can't remember exactly when but had no problem.
