I hope you don’t lose any cm, but in my opinion, for my own example I rather would have a functional penis that is 14cm than one that is 16cm but doesn’t work and failed me so many times. May I ask what pump did you use? There are so many options on the market I’m a little lost

You're right about that. I just know that one thing I skipped was the injections, but those fail over time too apparently. I hate the idea of going to give myself a shot. It was tough enough sneaking pills when I thought sex was gonna happen.

Anyway... it's called LA Pump. They have different sizes so make sure you order the right one. They all may have gauges but make sure to get one with a gauge on it.

I got a decent pump of of amazon .. rechargable .. had 4 different suction powers .. no guage but you could judge it pretty well while you were using it like 35.00

Seems like a good time for an update. I wrote this last night, on my flight from Istanbul. I must say, flying has been an absolute nightmare after this procedure! Dr Karaman said I’d be fine to fly on back today. I am not at all fine! It feels like my balls have been rubbed by sandpaper. I’ve discovered that it’s not so much the cramped seats, but the walking. The thighs rub against the pump and it ain’t a good situation when you stop walking. Not good at all. It’s borderline unbearable. It for sure develops some mental fortitude.

Anyway, my last consultation with Dr Karaman was Friday. He said everything was normal, even though I told him the pain after walking was ridiculous. He said give it a few weeks. We shall see. I thought the pump had moved or something. The pain definitely made it feel that way. To me, it seems like the pump is in my taint more than my ball sack. My ball sack is swollen, so idk, I could be off. It really feels that way when I touch it though. My ball and sack are on the smaller side, so I feel like he may have just shoved it back where he could. We shall see.

I also mentioned to him about pain urinating. He said it’s normal from the catheter. I’m actually wondering if it is a bigger issue though. He placed the cylinder tips very close to the tip of the peen. My assumption was that my urethra is likely cramped because of the inflation. However, I’m wondering if even when I’m deflated it will still be an issue because the tips don’t deflated. I really hope not. As of right now, it burns at the tip to pee.

There’s also some pain in the groin area to the left of the base of the peen. I think it’s where the wires come out of the cylinders. Hopefully that pain goes away too. The walking fire ball pain goes away after about 1 1/2-2 hours. I will be taking a strong pain pill when I get home.

I think I’m going to try the lube or Vaseline route before I go buying anymore special underwear. You couldn’t pay me to go through anymore airports or hop on anymore planes right now. It has been an absolute nightmare. My balls are on fire as I type this. I fully recommend hanging out for at least 2 weeks before doing much walking. I didn’t have that luxury. I walk a lot at work, so I’m hoping the lube does the trick.

Also, the trip through TSA did in fact yield a pat down. I got through the check in Turkey fine, London as well. For some reason, the scanner in Philly flagged me and it led to an uncomfortable pat down by the young TSA agent. He was more uncomfortable than me. I would hate having his job. I would have much rather it have been a woman, but whatever. It was just a pat down, no questions asked. The young woman by him did get a kick out of it (I am 50% pumped for the next month). Hard to hide that in sweatpants.

I will say it again though, your care in Turkey will be excellent thanks to Nasimi. He is a really nice guy that goes well above and beyond what you would expect. He went and got me snacks, food (the hospital food is absolutely horrible) and even bought me an outfit when the airline lost my luggage. Book through him, trust me.

So, I surely can’t say everything is perfect right now. However, I’m going to withhold judgment as all of my issues may pass with time. I’m just trying to give my honest assessments as time goes by.

I have to also say, I didn’t receive a ton of post-op instruction from Dr Karaman. As far as cycling goes, he threw out something that I’ve not seen on this board before. He said maybe to sleep with pumped up as much as I can take, then to deflate during the day. I highly doubt I will do that. He said that I could start after 3 weeks if I could take the pain at that point. He didn’t say anything as far as how best to keep it angled. I’ve been trying to keep it up but it doesn’t seem to matter cause it’s painful either way.

Sitting on ice has helped for sure. I’ll be doing that as much as possible. After keeping it angled up all day, I felt the tube on the right side of the base of the penis. I’m not sure whether it was like that before today or not. I hadn’t been touching it much, so I don’t know.

I’m trying to give all these little issues time. It may be par for the course this early. We shall see.

Thanks for the update. After so many glowing reviews its refreshing to hear the nasty side of it. Please continue to post updates. I’m extremely scared but also excited in the same time somehow. I never thought I’ll be able to afford the surgery before finding out about Karaman. I’m gonna do it anyway as that’s my only hope for a relatively normal life but its good to hear your story because almost all the other reviews seem like commercials. Wishing you a fast recovery!

What you describe is exactly what I felt too in my recovery. It really hurt to walk and I often found myself needing to motivate myself to get to the terminal gate in order to catch m flight. I went through exactly what you described but ultimately everything is usually normal again around the month 2 mark

I was close to skipping my flight from London. Man...you telling me it took 2 months for the constant pain to subside?

Yeah... I'm definitely not a paid actor. I hope everything will turn into a glowing review. I hope I'll look back and say all the pain was worth it. I was in the same boat as you brother. Hakky told me $22k for an in office procedure. That was out of the question. I had to get a loan for Dr Karaman.Thank you for your well wishes. Any questions you have, I'm more than happy to answer if I'm able.

Thank you for your posts Jakerip! I am also trying to get surgery with Dr Karaman in the next days.

I want to ask you, did Dr Karaman mention anything about why he chose 20+1 cm instead of 18+3cm? I see most patients in this forum have 18+3 (both cases add up to 21cm anyway). So i am curious if there is any difference. Obviously in your case it is too early to tell, but wondering what's the reasoning behind it.
