To me if you can get a object out thats not performing a function you are better off, if it is possible.

When you say everything came out, you mean the reservoir as well?

During revisions, they put the new reservoir on the other side so they have to create new space. It still isn’t very clear why they can’t take out the old one. If you had a 2nd revision, will you now end up with three? Will the 3rd one need to be put in between the abdomen muscles?

Dr. Chang removed the original reservoir which was a Titan coloplast and had been installed in 2019. He placed the new AMS reservoir in the same location as the original. If I need to have another revision I hope that the surgeon can remove the one that's installed and place a new one. I do hope this AMS LGX lasts for as long as I am ever going to need it. One note, talking with 2 surgeons before my revision, both said they would leave the reservoir in but Dr Chang said he would look at it when he was in there and see if it could come out with very little difficulty, glad he looked and glad he took it out. But if he hadn't so be it. Always talk and ask your surgeon questions, and research them as well.
