5 days since surgery

Postby Street Bully » Wed Feb 26, 2014 8:40 am

(AMS 700 LGX 24cm implant) Slept good last night but left side still quite sore. I don't let the pain killers get too far away from me! Can't get over how bruised I am, looks like I was hit by a train. It's pumped up to 30% right now and doc says leave it like that till he see's me in 4 weeks time and we can take it from there. I took 2 weeks off from the office, figure by then I should be ok to go back in. One thing the doc asked me to do was to keep my penis positioned upward in my underwear so I've been doing that. It still hurts a bit to take a pee but not like it did a few days ago. I'm also very itchy and had to put some skin softener creme on the boys. How long before the stitches disappear?

Congratulations on your AMS LGX implant. I had my implanted on August 6, 2013. I thought the stitches would disappear fairly quickly but it actually took over a month. I didn't have a tub to soak in and the doctor said that soaking would have probably shortened the time. By the way, you got a very nice sized implant (24 cm). Mine was only 19 cm. but I need to be satisfied with what I have and not wish for more!

Hang in there. Each day will get a bit better and soon this will all be behind you and you can enjoy the new "bionic" you.

SB, glad to hear that your doing well post LGX. I'm going under the knife on 3.3.14 and have been growing more nervous with each passing day, so it is good to hear about your positive experience. You are now almost ten days post op, how is your recovery going since your last post. From what I've read from others you should soon be starting to feel like your old self, hopefully you can see and feel improvement with each passing day.
Though I'm not nearly your size my doctor has requested a 24cm LGX be sent along with the standard kit, just in case there is the room in my corpora. My Doc performed a flaccid stretched measurement and feels that I'll probably need 25-27 cm in total( though he won't be able to say for sure till after getting me opened up), so in order that the rear tip extenders may be kept to a minimum he ordered a 24cm implant in case my body will truly accommodate that size. I'll just be glad to finally begin the healing and recovery, both mentally and physically. Get well soon SB, and may your new implant be a blessing for you, be well, peace...

Update: Day 10 post and I'm getting along good, almost no pain now. I'm still quite bruised but that's to be expected. Another 4 weeks and doc says we can pump it up :) I'm anxious to see after a few months of pumping it up how well it expands. I go back to work in a week so things should be pretty good by then. How many pumps does it take to pump it to it's fullest?

Street Bully, I was wondering if you know how many cm's of rear tip extenders were required to fill out your full length? I've read volumes on this procedure over the last year and have never before heard of anyone receiving a 24 cm lgx, it's exciting to have you share your experience with all of us. I have a personal interest as I may be on the receiving end of a 24cm special order LGX myself, that is if there is the room in my corpora. The doc says I seem to be large enough to justify that size but in the end it all comes down to my internal lenght reflecting a third or so of my external size. If that is true and my internal size isn't shorter than average, then you and I will be treading, what seems to be, new ground, at close to the same time. I hope your doing better than you had imagined you would be at this time, be well, peace...

I'm not really sure how many cc's of RTE were used, I will ask my doc though when I go in for my 1st pump up in 4 weeks.
