Advice on how to get pump positioned
I am 6 day post op. I have very little to no swelling in my balls. My pump is behind my right nut. It feels like it's pushing into my body a little. I have tried to move it around some, but there's not a lot of room. Is there a right way to adjust the pump into a more comfortable spot.
Re: Advice on how to get pump positioned
All I can say is what I was advised. Give it a little tug. I use the word nudge. Several times a day. They don't move quickly. A few weeks, maybe longer. Be patient & consistent.

I am 12 days post op and i have exactly in the same place as you. I wonder if that moves over time when the pump is manipulated or if it always stays the same

Wow! It sounds like you’ve got AMS equipment LOL.
I don’t know what percentage of AMS recipients go thru this. Based on comments on here I’d guess close to everyone.
Ask your doctor if it’s okay, but the advice mine gave me was identical to GT’s. Nudge, tug, and pull it down. Don’t get violent but a gentle, gradual pressure to cause it to hang lower in the nutsack.
Occasionally they get one that really doesn’t want to cooperate. Mine was that way. My doctor said that we could give it another week or two, but if it didn’t move he could open me back up…probably under a local….and fix it surgically.
A few days later I went to bed with it riding up way high and woke up the next morning to find that it had dropped to an ideal location, where it has stayed ever since.
This is the sort of thing you need to hash out with your surgeon, though. An implant is not just install and forget. Post-op care means resolving all the issues preventing patient from using it to fullest extent.
