I really think you should try some “trimix” urethral gel before you go to an implant. I can understand your reluctance to use injections, but the gel route is pretty easy and if it works for you it will allow you to have a pretty normal sex life, very possibly for years. It involves measuring a very small volume of gel into a syringe and inserting just the tip of the syringe (no needle) into the urethral opening at the tip of the penis to expel the gel into the urethra. It doesn’t work quite as often as the injected trimix but it works great for a lot of men.The cheapest place I know of to buy it is University Compounding Pharmacy in San Diego. A 3ml supply costs about $150 with shipping. The dose is anywhere from 0.1 to 0.5 ml, so you can get a fair number of doses from one syringe depending on how much you need. Happy to answer any questions. https://www.ucprx.com/ed-urethral-gel
One other note. The trimix gel version from UCPRX has alprostadil, phentolamine and lidocaine. The lidocaine keeps the stuff from causing a burning sensation in the urethra, which can be pretty bad with the versions that don’t have lidocaine. UCPRX ships to most of the U.S.

free test? shbg? progesterone? e2?
if ur urolgist was shit as you say, maybe he did not check every contriuting parameter. you saw my previous answer, i am all for implant mostly, but i would highly recomend finding the source of your ED first, because that is the thing, you never mention here. starting point would be a COMPLETE hormone panel. After that, check for local reasons in your actual penis and surrounding veins. If you read posts and journals and signitures here, all of the guys have a reason, why they developed ED. at least most of them. what is your source of ED and if you dont know, why dont you try to figure that out first?
It was just those 4 hormones and the free testosterone but the thing is I haven't had a doppler yet but since that's a part of the workup for ed most of the time and based on the fact im 18 with absolutely no comorbidities I'd be willing to bet any amount of money that I'm dealing with a venous leak but yeah you're right there is still some investigating that needs to be done. Also for other sources I was fat around the time all this started and I know being fat is really bad for erections but im not sure of that contributed to it.

being fat is not bad for erections. being fat in your puberty is bad for your hormones. and bad hormones are bad for erections. cant believe he did not check e2.
estradiol in the male body by the way gets produced trough aromatasation from free test to e2. that happens in your fat cells. another hint. and of cours high e2 will give you ED.
if you dig to steroid forums you will find plenty of reeports from guys messing with anabolics, altering their hormone balance and having ED. A fix for that by the way is correct bloodwork and some adjustments or short term medication. thats it. so yes, investigate.
also: dont "be sure" its a venouse leak, go go a doppler.

Good thought but an important thing for me is that I attend college in Canada and don't know if I can import this stuff and even if I could I don't have enough interest in trying it to justify the cost plus shipping.

Make an appointment RIGHT NOW with Dr. Hakky to get that Coloplast Titan IPP ASAP.
Get that long lasting Coloplast Genesis Malleable, if you don't have an extra $22K USD or a private health insurance for your 2nd IPP revision surgery.
Every single day you wait, is a day of lost opportunity to fuck that fresh 18 year old, warm, juicy and tasty wet pussy for as many times you want and however long as you want.
LIFE IS SHORT.

Or get a Tactra if you want to cut diamonds, lol
34 years old. ED since age 20 after a bicycle accident. Some luck with pills until recently. Injections worked but were very hit or miss with me. Scheduled for a malleable (Tactra) in December 2024.

I agree with Duke.
Boston Scientific (AMS) Tactra malleable has demonstrated the highest malleable axial rigidity, even after 100,000 bend cycle tests in their lab.
However, consider this:
1. Tactra is only five years old, so we lack long-term, real-world durability data. Think long-term.
2. It does not have a hydrophilic or Inhibizone coating, which means it won't provide the 50% reduction in infection risk that these coatings have shown in studies.
Infection still remains the most dreaded complication of this surgery.
If you're contemplating a Tactra, the stiffest malleable ever, I recommend consulting Dr. Clavell, who has significant expertise with AMS products. While Dr. Hakky is a Coloplast expert, Dr. Clavell’s proficiency with AMS is stronger.
Be aware that they might steer you away from a malleable option, which is perfectly fine, as long as you’re prepared for potential costs associated with a future IPP mechanical malfunction revision surgery(s).
Not everyone has deep pockets, private health insurances that favors IPP revisions or a wealthy parent or trust fund lifestyle to fund IPP revisions, and GoFundMe is not a viable option unless you have a loyal OnlyFans following. Just kidding!
Ultimately, know yourself, know what you're getting into and make informed choices regarding the implant option (if that's your chosen path) that best suits your needs.
Good luck.

Actually I never heard about this gel before. I probably would have tried it before getting the implant (given that it's not an injection). But does it need to be refrigerated? And how long does it take to work?
