Thank you for your super detailed posts! Super appreciated.

I had my implant about 2 weeks and it seemed there was no swelling initially whatsoever in the scrotum. I asked the doctor if I could try the deflate button and inflate before I leave the country so I make sure everything works. He said ok as long as I keep myself inflated afterwards and sleep inflated like post op la.

I tried it in the bathtub laying down (as that's what people in this forum said that Dr Eid recommends), probably the hot water made everything relaxed and made it easier to find the deflate button. I found it and deflated a bit and then inflated again. It seemed to work.

Next day I tried it in the bed, but this time I stood up to walk around a little bit while I was deflating. As soon as i stood up from bed I noticed a massive ball of fluid forming at the base of my penis, it's like a third testicle (4th if you count the pump), it just showed up within seconds. I panicked and laid down in bed and inflated again to leave everything like it was before. But that third testicle is there still. It's been a couple days already. Doctor just told me to not touch the pump for a while so I will give it at least a week and see if it goes away.

I am still on my original cycle of antibiotics anyway as I haven't finished the whole course (one of the antibiotics ends 22 days post op per my doctors usual régimen).

So basically now I just need to wait and pray there will be no infection and that ball will go away and I will be able to cycle normally.

By "water tight" do you mean you put something on your incision to make it waterproof? Even when you take a shower?

By the way i sent you a private message too

Every doctor is different. My doctor said no showers, cycling, or touching scrotum for 6 weeks. I followed his instructions.

By water tight, I just meant wound completely sealed. It's a term my doc used.

Wait, no showering for 6 weeks? how do you clean yourself without getting the incision wet?

Sorry meant no baths for 6 weeks. No submerging underwater in the tub

Sempiternal wrote:First time posting on the forum, been reading daily for about five months. Thought I'd post some observations and progress, especially for those in their 40's or younger. I'm 42 years old and 7 weeks Post Op.

Condition
Pre ED, I was 7 inches and could have sex for two hours without ejaculating. In my early & mid 20's, got inguinal hernia, venous leak, and pelvic floor disorder. ED & PE were my new normal. Pills didn't work. Tried injections this year, hit or miss, and curvature began to form.

Surgeon
Did research on this forum and watched Youtube videos. Decided on Penoscrotal and Titan One Touch. I looked at CX, but most of the top surgeons recommended the Titan One Touch for my age (Clavell, Eid, Hakky, Perito). I liked the Titan Classic, but the pump was not silent. At the time, that was a deal breaker. But I probably should have considered it because it's very durable.
I didn't consider Dr Eid, due to long distance and age (for revision purposes). I watched the above surgeon's procedures, including Dr Kramer, on Youtube. For Penoscrotal, it was clear that Dr Clavell had the most impressive work and presentation. For Infrapubic, I would have probably considered Dr Hakky.

Week 3
The first two weeks or so went very smooth. I was left half inflated through 6 weeks. At the 2.5 week mark, my scrotum grew to the size of a grapefruit. Unfortunately, I started using ice packs (limited duration and with a towel), which I believe was counter productive. I think this slowed my healing. There were no doctor or hospital notes stating that ice should only be used the first week. Looking back, I would have not used ice, or reduced to only 5-10 mins at a time. The pump got encased in hard tissue, it felt like a block, unable to decipher parts. My left testicle adhered to the pump. Thankfully, Dr Clavell was cautious, proactive, and aggressive on medication. Infection was a potential concern, until he ruled it out. But I was on antibiotics for almost 4 weeks and steroid for 1 week (to clear the encased tissue around pump). According to Dr Clavell and Dr Eid, if the implant is infected, antibiotics don't help. They only help on superficial infections. According to Dr Eid, all infections happen in the operating room (Youtube video). Dr Clavell told me, the great majority of infections happen within the first 2-3 weeks, and slowly worsen through weeks 4-6. Generally, there are usually signs ahead of time. There are a few exceptions where an infection gets serious overnight. This isn't gospel, I'm just relaying what I was told. Trying present some context and reality for those who are new and considering implants.
Dr Clavell's wound was near perfect. Always remained dry and clean. Highly recommend him. We were texting on a weekly basis and talking every other week.

Cycling
I was given the green light to cycle and take hot baths at 6 weeks. It took me 4 days of hot baths to find the deflate button. Pump was in between testicles towards the bottom, closer to left side. Surgeon installed it frontwards (deflate button), but pump shifted. Found the deflate button on the left side, facing the outside / left testicle. The pump was no longer encased, but left testicle still adhered to pump. I cycled 3 days straight before having sex. Scrotum gets swollen and blister-like things form. Dryness too (vaseline and aloe vera help. Supposedly coconut oil, but haven't tried it).

Sex
Had sex yesterday for first time, 7 week mark. It was underwhelming and mediocre. I came in 5 mins, then lasted an additional 10 mins or so. My wife came once. Had sex today for second time, even worse. I came in 5 mins and wife didn't want to continue penetration. She didn't come through penetration,. I finished her off orally both days. She was clearly disappointed. She even made the comment, "are you inside yet". Having to step away to pump up, dampens the mood. The pump bulb is very hard, I'm only able to inflate to about 70% and it takes about 2 mins to get there. I'm young and fit, but pumping to max is still difficult. Need to improve my refractory period, once I orgasm, not much desire to continue thrusting away. Glan engorgement is fine, as long as I'm not anxious. There wasn't much pain during intercourse, but definitely pain all day later (needle like pain in head & glans, rear cylinder pain near glutes).

Expectations
This won't automatically make you a porn star, day one. The pump bulb is very hard, I'm only able to inflate to about 70% and it takes about 2 mins to get there. I know this isn't the final result and things will improve over time. Right now, I'm 5 inches erect and 4 inches flaccid. Pre Ed I was 7 inches erect, 5 inches flaccid. Pre Implant I was 6 inches erect and 3 inches flaccid. I will have to make gains cycling.

Titan flaccid is interesting. It's a constant hard 4 inch chub, has not softened. It's a little painful and discomfort keeping it in your pants. Rotate between left, right, up, and down. At home, I prefer to just let it hang in the open. I have a crinkle or crease on the left side, believe it's called a dog ear. Don't like the deflate button, which is flat. Wish it protruded. Titan One Touch is silent, pumping and deflating. I read a comment earlier today that said it makes noises, mine is completely silent. My partner will not hear it.

Tips
I use Separtec underwear, on half my underwear, I cut a hole to let my chub hang out all the time. For dry skin, you can use Vaseline, Aloe Vera, or Coconut Oil ( haven't tried the latter). I drank Juven the first 6 weeks to help wound healing. Used laundry sanitizer for all clothes, bedding, and towels. Clorox disinfectant spray for bedding and furniture. Never sat nude in bed or sofa, always wore underwear in bed and even robe for sofa.

Mental Game
The 6 weeks were hell. I felt like a ticking time bomb of potential infection. My work gave me a hard time about lack of business travel. My wife and kids had to carry the burden at home, with chores. You can't go outside for 6 weeks, due to hard on. Tucking it up against your stomach is very uncomfortable for first 6 weeks. This isn't for the mentally weak. The mental game was more of a challenge than the physical.

Hope this helps and glad to answer any questions.

I hear you Sempiternal, I can't imagine what you have went through at your age with kids still at the house. I was already retired when I got my implant at 62 years old and my wife didn't want my dick showing when we went out. It showed a lot with sweat pants, so I had to get really long shirts to cover up the little pointy dude. :D
The doc wanted me to cycle twice a day in the shower 20 minutes each time; well my showers don't last that long, so I would keep my little buddy inflated while I shaved.
I know that has got to be tough for you with all the kids at the house plus the work situation. I also did some extra cycling in our large garden tub, 3 times a week I would fill up the tub with pretty warm water and and pump up to 70 percent and stretch up, down and side to side for 5 minutes and then pump it up as much as I could get in and try to see how long I could go without a lot of pain and discomfort.

Sex -
I was given the green light at 6 weeks also but I still had a lot of pain when I inflated to the max that I could get at that time and try to get past 20 minutes.

First Time Sex - I waited till week 8 even though I was still having pain in my shaft and especially the glans area. I pumped up ahead of time so that I was ready when we started foreplay, so when I got ready to try for penetration I was already feeling pain in my glans. It was a total disaster, at this point I could tell that I still had numbness and less sensitivity and I had trouble finding her hole and after I did penetrate a little I could tell that it wasn't hard enough for good penetration, but at least we gave it a shot. I was really hurting afterwards and I had to take some pain meds, my dick hurt a lot the next two days. I sent an email to my doc and told him about the pain and he said to give it some more time. My wife wasn't disappointed that I could tell and if she was she never told me. I can't remember exactly but I believe it was 3 to 4 months when sex felt normal again, but it got better every month after the 4th month.

Sex Now 3 Years later This is why you shouldn't get discouraged, sex got better every month that went by, I was able to pump to the max and not have any pain for at least two hours my 1st and 2nd year and I can probably go longer than two hours pumped to the max now. My wife likes for me to pump up and be ready ahead of time, so when the time comes and she wants it, she doesn't have to wait for me to pump up and I don't have any pain when she is ready.

Sexual Drive and Libido for me and my wife -
I've always had a high sex drive and always wanted it way more than my wife. Our marriage hasn't been sexless but a lot less than I would like over our 36 year marriage. I've always been able to cum pretty quick, probably around the 4 to 5 minute mark especially if she starts bucking and wants me to bang her hard. Thankfully I haven't had PE and I've always been able to cum but lately at age 66 I've noticed that it takes longer for me to cum. I had my testosterone checked and it was in the high 300's but when I got my implant at 62 it was in the high 800's, so I might have to have some testosterone therapy.
I asked my wife to go to a Hormone Replacement Therapy wellness center close to our house and get checked for her hormones. Turns out she was low on everything, I believe she has always been low even at 25 when we got married. She got the HRT pellets and I'm telling you it has been a game changer with our sex lives, she wants it way more than when we first got married and she gets super wet when we start foreplay and my bionic dick just slides right in and then it's go time. ;)
My wife likes it super hard, so I pump it up all the way and I might get some more pumps in when the tissues get stretched out.

I know this was long, but I wanted to give you some encouragement
Keep giving it time fellow bionic brother, things will get better. All of us heal different and all of us have different anatomy's with the way that our body works. Keep hanging in there :!:
I don't know if your wife might be low on her hormones but if she is and she starts a pellet program, it could really get the sex into high gear :!:

Thank you for the encouragement. Hope to have great and long lasting sex in the upcoming weeks or months
