I'd rather keep a 3 piece implant. Just keep improving materials and pumps . Just like the 6000 year old wheel...... the original design was pretty good . Just improved materials and performance.

Hi, guys.
I participated in this project. I was interviewed by a professional and lovely young woman, while people behind a mirrored wall observed while also filming the entire interview. Not much I can report, except that I’m excited about being able to participate. Baring your bits isn’t part of the deal. I was asked questions about my use of Bluetooth in apps, then asked how I would react to certain commands, or situations. I was able to handle prototype equipment, just to determine the ease of application. Obviously, they didn’t change out my implant
I was able to give opinions about the possible end result equipment, and look forward to seeing what might be that end result.

You said you had access to some prototype equipment. What were the features of it? how is it supposed to be used? where is the battery placed?

I also did a phone interview a couple years ago, and sounds like this is the next step. The quest asked then was mostly about your use of apps and how a pump would interact with an app…. Was telling that the charging method was via a magnetic charger that would charge thru your skin.

I personally think linking the implant to a smart phone is a terrible idea. Just use your imagination.

How about this? How about working on an implant that's actually guaranteed to last a set amount of years?

Perhaps that would be a malleable.

This was a few months ago, so my memory might be fuzzy. The general gist of the interview, was to check the ease of belting on the charging apparatus.

The apparatus which would charge the battery is large and rather cumbersome, and has to be belted on to charge the battery. They seemed to be only concentrating on the wearability of that apparatus, which, as mentioned, is cumbersome. It was a round disk like thing about four inches in diameter. The belt didn’t really make sense in how it’s to be worn.

My honest take, is that they have a long way to go. In retrospect, I don’t think I would want one. I’m married, so if I ran out of charge I wouldn’t be concerned. There’s always tomorrow, but single guys, or swingers would be in a bind if there was a lady expecting a ready and usable dick and had to wait for it to be recharged.

For me an implant that relies ONLY on battery wouldn't make sense. I would still like to have the good old pump available whenever I need it, and the added convenience of using the battery if I happen to be charged in that moment. What if I am away from a plug for an extended period of time? What if I lost my charger? The manual option should always be available.
