Implanted Oct 11th 2024 - Dr Karaman + Rigicon AX
Re: Implanted Oct 11th 2024 - Dr Karaman + Rigicon AX
I would say your cylinders are under sized, and since you just had a revision the surgeon apparently did not measure it right. When you have a revision or first implant I have had a couple of tiny little snake eye holes on the tip of the glan where they use something to pull the cylinder into the glan or else you could have a floopy glan. All depends if you have blood vessels still running into the glan, if not you definitely need the cylinder pulled to make sure the saline expansion will give you an engorgement on the glan. But I know some surgeons do not do a good job, and I had that problem on my second revision. I guess I can say I was lucky the pump failed and the third different surgeon noticed the tips were at the base of the glan, that is when he pulled the cylinders out, gave me longer cylinders and added rte's accordingly to fill the whole length as measured correctly. Good luck!

Hi, unfortunately i still have floppy glans (meaning the tip of the cylinder does not go into the glans). I am considering a revision soon.

Wow! Now that was one heck of a read. My favorite parts were the Dr who said you ask too many questions. Guilty of thathere too. And when they removed the catheter and you showed them what you could do peeing all over. Thank you for your posting. You. should write a book or maybe you already know that or... maybe you just are. You write very, very well. And hows the implant doing?

1955. I have had ED for years. We were going for a Rigicon Infla10 in October 2024. Life got in the way (heart attack & stent), so we are now going for injections as a fill-in.

Im curious how common this hard pump issue with Rigicon is. Someone else on here had an infla10ax and that also had a hard pump issue requiring revision.
They said that when they reported it to the nurse they immediately asked if the issue was a hard pump. So seems common....

The pump really feels hard at first. But after a month or so of cycling it definetely softens up. Also, in the beginning the scrotum is super sore to press hard. A couple months later you just won't care and squeeze the pump with all your strength without discomfort. Also the technique matters a lot. I discovered that when i use the whole palm of my hand and 4 fingers to "surround" the pump, i can pump quite easily with 1 hand. Without discovering that technique i was struggling.

I am nearly two years in, and I can still only manage about 5 or 6 pumps before it goes completely solid, if I wait an hour or so I can get a couple more, but not to the extent that my penis actually gets hard enough to do anything with it .So 'cycling' is just not possible at all.
And yes, I am an engineer, I have strong hands.

Onset of ED at age 46, no erection since, pills, VED , Injections, no luck, not even once.
Implanted 19.04.2023 in UK, with Rigicon Infla 10 AX, not functioning so far, still hopeful.

Sounds like you got a defective pump. Why not get a revision?
