6 weeks post and sore from lines help.

I'm 6 weeks post now and sore where the reservoir is and also where the lines run down the left side by the base of where my penis starts to extend from my body. I get sharp pains from the lines if I stand up too quick or move to quick from a sitting position. I also have some discomfort from the reservoir and it does bulge out a wee bit compared to my right side. I go this Friday for an ultra sound so they can see what's going on. Anyone else have this problem? I go for my first pump up 2 weeks from today. AMS700LGX special order is what I decided on. I have no other pain, just those 2 things. Doc says he may have to go back in and reposition the reservoir depending on what the ultra sounds reads.

just some scar tissue or minor adheasion pulling. all this should eventually go away. You can try moving the pump or even pulling it down to made sure it heals in the right place. You don't want them to go back in to free up your pump.

Pump seems fine but the reservoir and lines coming from it going down my left side is what's causing the sharp pain. If I press in on the lines when getting up from a sitting position I'm fine with no pain. Is this normal?

my reservoir was placed thru a vertical incision in the lower abdomen and my reservoir lines are deep down under. I also had an AUS implanted at the same time so my plumping may a little different. normal? it doesn't sound like it is.

I have never been able to feel either the reservoir or the tubing ("lines") that run from the pump to the cylinders (2 of them I think) or the tubing that runs from the reservoir to the pump (just 1 I think). My pump is high and back and the tubing doesn't extend far enough into my scrotum for me to feel it.

Based on reading accounts from others, its unusual to feel the reservoir, especially as prominently as you described.

Also, based on reading accounts of others, whether you can feel the tubing seems to depend on where the pump is placed, and perhaps based too on individual anatomy. Pump placement can be a choice made by the surgeon, and it varies a lot one guy to the next. I have read a very few accounts where people had discomfort from the tubing, usually because it was too long and the excess was causing problems.

However, at 6 weeks post op its pretty common for people to have some issue, whatever it is and it varies a lot, and for that issue to eventually resolve without intervention at some point in the future. Unless your doc thinks something needs to be done right away, maybe its best to wait a few months and then reassess?

Week 7 and feeling much better. Ultra sound looked normal. I go for my 1st pump up on the 15th next Wednesday. I'm very happy with the special order 24cm ams 700 lgx flaccid size, long and quite thick. Can't wait to pump this baby up and put it to work!
