As some people asked me not to post again about the poor outcome of my implantation, I will not, but as an aside, have any other implantees, found that they need to urinate much more frequently and that the urge to urinate comes on much more rapidly?
Also I have found that my urine comes in a normal continuous stream, then, after about a minute or so, a shorter less powerful one. I can only imagine that this much by due to pressure on the bladder from the fluid reservoir and that the second part must take a moment to get past it.
Anyone else had this experience, or others?
Increased frequency of urination?

would be good if you can update your signature with all the details about surgery dates, doctor, implant type, measures, etc. So people can know what they are giving their opinion about

Re: Increased frequency of urination?
The implant is a Rigicon Infla 10 AX, and was implanted on 19.04.23, and yes, it was done by a doctor, whose name I would most definitely not mention as in British culture that would be a gross and inexcusable breach of privacy.
I do not know what you mean by measures.
I do not know why anybody would need that information, all I was asking is if any other men with implants had noticed such a change in their bladder emptying habits, either they have or not.
If not then it may be nothing to do with my implant and a visit to the Doctor may be in order.

Updating your signature and giving context usually helps ( see my own signature).
I assume the doctor was british too?
Are you happy with your rigicon AX besides the urination frequency?

Re: Increased frequency of urination?
I have done as you suggested and updated my signature, thank you.
I am not bothered by the frequency of urination, except that as a 58 year-old man I have to be aware that the symptoms I refer to would normally indicate a prostate examination was required, so if nobody else has had this, perhaps I should have one.
As for my implant, all I want to say about that is that it does not cause me any pain, and that my sexual function is unchanged to how it was prior to my operation, so I am no worse off than before.
As I say I have been criticised for writing negative posts that might put people off.

I just went through your old posts. As i could understand, the reason you do not use the implant is because the pump is too hard? I would definetely get a second opinion if you haven't yet. Also, your own surgeon should be able to inflate you during your followup appointment. If he can inflate you easily with his own hand, then it means the problem is you, not the implant. If he cannot inflate you himself, then its obvious the problem is the implant, and then you would need a revision.
I wonder if you had a followup and/or second opinion from doctors and if not, why haven't you?
Pumping is hard in the beginning but there are some techniques with both hands and the pump should start softening over time. I am 6 weeks in now, about 2 weeks since i started cycling i was able to pump with 1 hand (needed 2 hands at first and felt very very hard like a rock but it softened over time). I still feel i need 2 hands when i am getting closer to full inflation and the pump gets harder.
Regarding your prostate, you should probably check it regardless because of your age and for peace of mind.

Re: Increased frequency of urination?
I just visited my uro this week. He told me the IPP likely has nothing to do with my urination issues, and that it is likely that my prostate is larger. Not a concern yet.
My PSA went up earlier this year, so I am getting periodic checks. It was down this last blood check.
Anyway, that's my story.

ED worsened over 25 years, likely VL. Went through pills and injections, and results faded over time. Implant AMS 700CX, 21 cm, no RTE, on 6/3/24.
