I had the ocassion to see surgeon this week three weeks early of first scheduled appt post surgery. While I waited to see surgeon an associate examined me and I asked was it alright to see the turns/bends in implant tubing at base and along shaft.....and I had question about slight left curve in shaft. Associate thought inflation would correct those matters so he engaged pump with three or four pumps. Although not as bad as I might have perhaps expected, those pumps did get my attention (at four weeks). The good news was that the more pronounced inflation looked very good and did seem to straighten out curve. The inflation was very brief then he deflated before pumping back to partial as I was originally. I only got a quick look at deflate flaccid and was not all impressed with that but feel all will change with practice and time.
My question is this, after the extra inflation I have felt more discomfort in my glans, is this to be expected? It stands to reason that tigter inflations will put some stress(bruise) to glans and possibly area at implant base at first use . If this is indeed the norm and to be expected, does this not cause some serious discomfort in the early use and trials? My theory is that it will eventially go away and the end results will be worth it. If so, how long was it before most of you started feeling this pain in glans go away? I try to look to the positive side of things when I can such as with the daily carry of a sligtly inflated penis....it is a little uncomfortable all belly up with sometimes a little pain, but dern it looks good (to me) with an appearance I kind of like for a change.

Don't worry it's completely normal. Pain and or tenderness in the glans will get better as time goes on. I did experience pain for a while when first using it for intercourse. It will get better as time goes on as well.
