Gotta choose a Dr and Implant… North Carolina

Postby Fordawin » Thu Dec 12, 2024 9:55 am

I’m scheduled with Ryan Terlecki in February 2025. Never met him, just his fellow. The fellow gives me no confidence that I’ll be rigid and similar size. “It will be adequate for penetration” is the most I can get back. I’ll see Aaron Lentz next week. I read that he uses AMS and Coloplast. I’m sure after reading so many post on here it will be fine with the sizing. I guess my question is what mental health type questions should I try to resolve before surgery? Did anyone take before and after measurements themselves? Any has both AMS and Coloplast? If so preference?

Dr. Lentz did my surgery almost 3 years ago. it was during covid and his staff sucks. He is a good surgeon and my Colonplast Titan has worked pretty well. My post op recovery was a little longer than I expected due to scar tissue from TriMix. Wish I had done it 3 years earlier prior to the Trimix. My wife had given up on sex. She now feels like I am poking her with a stick with my implant fully inflated. I have been patient with her but now would like to find a woman who really enjoys sex. I miss it. There are two Urologist in Raleigh who do implant surgery. I did my homework and chose Dr. Lentz. I saw him three times, the consult, the surgery, th final post op visit. Have not seen him since. I did get a satisfation survey after two years.

Not sure this is the reassurance you might be looking for. I do not know of a dr that even comes close to guaranteeing length. The very best you'll get is a statement to the effect that you'll be your stretched penis lenght. That is usually poor news. Best that I can tell you is my erect length is 2cm longer than my stretch test. I never really measured my erection when younger. Now using the pubic bone measuring method. I think I'm pretty close to my historical length. Best gauge that I have is I frequently could hit my wifes IUD string when younger so I was at her cervix.

Just keep in mind that drs are restoring function. They don't see an IPP as restoring size & they won't talk about size very much.

I used Dr Lentz in 2019 with a Titan 22.
I regained about 1/2 inch of my pre-peyronies at 8", so i am easy 7" now
He asked me what was most important to me and I said girth,
He recommended titan and I regained almost 1" in girth, which my spouse loves.
I wonder if your spouse is going through menopause and your dick may hurt...in general,
I agree about sex, I want it 3-4 times a week, I normally get to fucg about 2-3.
Never a complaint about it feeling like a stick.
Maybe the spouse needs a vaginal cream with steroids in it?
I do know the feeling when I have to wait for sex, its like just give me any warm hole, I dont care.
But i remain faithful.

UPDATE - I have decided to go with Dr. Lentz at Duke. We decided on a Titan. Looks like the estimate is approx 22-24 cm... final measurements will be taken during surgery. apparrently, the root of the penis (inside the pelvis and not visable) can be 20% up to 50% of the implant depending on your anatomy... scheduled for 2-17. getting excited now that i know i will not have the lgx...

Good luck!

You will not gain/lose length if your surgeon knows that they are doing. The AMS will be tailored (fit) to what God gave you thats it. You will gain girth. Operating with a full erection (engorged) - is a great feeling! Happy to answer any questions.
