Check up and pain in resovior 4 weeks

So implanted with the ams 700 cx on the 26th of November. 3 weeks in, a pain started in my abdomen. Went for a check up today and mentioned the pain, doctor had a poke and a prod around and decided I needed a blood test to check my infection markers. Thankfully bloods came back clear with no infection marker increases.

Pretty happy with these results but does anyone know how reliable infection markers are at detecting an infection. The doctor decided to prescribe me another 7 days of anti biotics anyway.
