Update: I asked Hakky that if the pump tubing caused the issue, then give me Classic BUT if the issue is with tubing from the reservoir side, then give me the same Touch pump.

So during the surgery he found out that the issue was with the tubing of the Touch pump. Due to bending, it broke slightly, so he decided to put a Classic pump.

He said that people who exert a lot of pressure on the classic pump tend to break it. So if I am gentle, it should be okay. So I thought to myself, how do I pump? And turns out I am gentle when pumping, thus I should be fine. I really hope this one lasts me 10 years!

Another thing is that due to constant pumping over the last 4 years, my penis stretched out and as a result, I now have 23 cm implant (22cm + 1 rte).

glad that everything worked out. Its my understanding that the classic pump is tried and true and should hopefully give both of us a good run without any issues.

Thanks! The classic pump is very different from the Touch pump. Getting used to it because the basic principles are the same. My only worry right now is the pump placement - it's too high behind the balls. This makes sitting and walking uncomfortable for me. Also, I dislike this placement because putting it behind the balls means if I wear underwear, it pushes the pump behind the balls further back between my legs and thus makes it uncomfortable to walk.

Where is your pump placement in the scrotum? Did you have a similar issue at the beginning?

Did Hakky put the pump in the same pocket or create a new pocket? Did you like the original positioning of the pump or did you ask for more concealment? (suspect that is the only reason that put behind the testicles). My original pump was a little high and I felt always pushing on the left testicle. The second full revision the pump was perfect spot (right in between the testicles and towards the front, but not deep into the taint area). When switching the pump only, he just used the same pocket (he did ask if I liked the spot and if I were ok using the same pocket again since he thought it was good location and cosmetic look).

I think there is a little bit of give on the pump to move it around even if it was stitched in place since I was recommended to still continue to gently tug on the pump 3 times daily immediately after surgery to allow it to settle in.

I liked the original positioning and got used to it for 4 years. I didn’t ask for concealment but he later said he gave it to me so it isn’t visible but man this position is annoying. Tbh I don’t care about concealment, being easy to use is more important. The original was at the bottom of the scrotum and very easy to use, the new one is way high and goes inside the taint area sometimes if I don’t pull down on it. Winter is not helping since it compresses the scrotum. He did ask me to keep pulling it down and forward so it settles in the right position but I am not sure if that will move the pump an inch or so downwards towards the bottom of the scrotum. But I am optimistic and hoping that it will settle down with time perhaps.

Does your pump in between the testicles floats in the scrotum in the middle, or does it rest at the bottom of the scrotum?

Most importantly, are the stitches that hold the pump in place dissolvable? If so, I believe they could dissolve in 3 months fully and allow my pump to rest way down the current position. What do you think?

That's unfortunate - I would assume that Hakky would ask you about it or put it back in the same spot if it wasn't clarified before the pump surgery.

My pump sits in the bottom of the scrotum, it doesn't sit on top (that could be uncomfortable).

I would recommend these tip sheet that I got from my surgeon Dr Patel.

https://iu.coloplast.us/wp-content/uplo ... -Guide.pdf

I think meant for surgeons in term so the language but its clear to understand. If the pump is too high it could drop as the incision heals since it pulls it up. Hope you don't need another revision if it gets hard to use.

Hey man, the pump settled in the perfect spot. I guess I spoke too soon and should have just trusted Dr. Hakky's experience. I am happy man now and the pump is in a better spot than before the revision surgery. Very easy to use and discreetly hidden.

Is your new pump location to the rear and low? Mine is located at the front and low which I am not crazy about but is easy to access. I have spoken to her about relocating to the rear and going on 3 years she said I could replace the pump or the whole implant at the same time.

I like the pump to be in the bottom of the scrotum. That way it is easy to find and easy to inflate and deflate. I had problems before on my second revision and I complained all the time that the pump was to close to the base of the penis and when I would get an erection and the penis stretching out pulled the pump into the base and it was ugly, looked like I had a ball on the base of the penis. So ten months later I had the third revision and I made sure that the surgeon knew exactly where I wanted the pump to be down and low.

Please could you share the procedure to get it unstuck? I have always faced this problem with my LGX. I have to press inflate/deflate simulataneously
