I thought tips were very pointy with Titan with my first surgery. With revision surgery, surgeon said he contoured the tips based on my complaint so they were more rounded at the tips.
He said you can do it with titan since it has a bigger silicone piece at the tip vs. the AMS. I thought that was pretty creative on the part of the surgeon and so far, feel like it causes less pressure/pain in the glans compared to the first titan implant.
Do you know how he contoured the tips of the Titan? You mean he machined it to become rounder at the tips?
The way he described it and what's written in the surgery note - he removed the string that comes pre-attached from the factory to pass the implant into the penis. He used black handled heavy Mayo scissors to contour the tip. A Prolene suture was placed into the distal cap of each cylinder to pass the Keith needle, avoiding injury to the inflatable component, which was cycled prior to implantation.
I don't think its any softer, but its less pointy for sure in my glans compared to the Titan before.
Wow that sounds like some innovative engineering by your doc. Very cool.
