T Minus 6 Days.....

Hey Everyone.... been lurking here for the last 6+ months and now posting for the first time.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences, journals, stories, answers, questions etc. The numerous journals and threads I've read have been invaluable in helping me make my decisions, and now to prepare for my upcoming surgery on 2/25, and what to possibly expect afterward. I will contribute what I can from my experience.

First, and most important decision I made was to choose a reputable, high volume surgeon. I interviewed several and chose Dr Karpman in NorCal. He is as experienced as any out there, but he is close to where I live and is already in my insurance network. And, I clicked really well with him. Despite what some posters have said here, I find his staff very friendly and accessible so far. He is also a Colopast Center of Excellence and I've decided to get a Titan.

My ED has progressed over the last year to the point that I need to get this done and I'm anxious to get it going. I'm actually counting down the days until I can move on. Looking forward to hopefully ending the psychological torture this has been putting me through.

I do have a question to start my posting off here, and it's probably one of the most discussed subjects.. size change. Pre-op right now I'm 6.5 x 6.5. The doc is confident that he can get me the same after surgery & recovery. I believe him regarding the length.. but what about my girth? I've read debates, including a recent one here, that seem to indicate that I won't be able to keep such a large girth, even with a Titan. My doc seems to think I will keep it. Anyone out there keep 6.5"+ after implant?

3 years ED where I was showing 1.5 to 2 inches after losing my prostrate, today after 2 years in I am at 6L and 6G. Coloplast Titan. Took time to grow and grow it did. When I woke from the implant I was so disappointed with the size. One year of cycling 2-3 times per day I'd say contributed greatly to the growth that I had. GL to ya.

I don't know my girth measurement.

But I've always been happy with my size since my implant.

If girth is really important, make sure to measure while you're excited.

When I inflate just for maintenance, I'm not as big as when I'm aroused, either in length or girth.

Thanks. I'm trying to prepare myself for initial disappointment by reminding myself that it will take time to get the size back. But I suspect it will be tough to be positive at the beginning. Good to hear you grew so much after!

I don't know my girth measurement.

I always measure when excited. Interesting to hear about the difference when cycling vs. aroused. Makes sense and hadn't really thought about that.

I don't forget how it all went down some 2 years ago. You got this! We all want bigger lol. I really can't complain. The fact that I can enjoy sex again is all I care about. You can reach out to me anytime. I'm sure that you will wonder "why is this and that happening to me" kind of way. Its all par for the course.

Just met with Dr Karpman for my pre-op and I'm feeling really good about everything.
