4 weeks- activated today...doesnt seem to go flaccid

I am 4 weeks out and today the doc activated Mr titan...overall it is good, some pain for sure

My question is around deflation, I push the valve and squeeze my penis starts to go down but doesn't seem to go all the way down...I sill seem to have a 'chubby' The last 4 weeks it has been partially inflated and doesnt seem to want to go down beyond that

Questions- do you only need to push it once? Which side of the button is it...the small little one I assume

I cant really really squeeze my penis as it still hurts, so could it simply be time and be able to squeeze more?

If the valve is open will it continue to 'drain:"

cannot pump fully up yet but will continue to work on it, but I have no idea if it is totally deflated?

Advice?How should it look flaccid...as mine still has some 'hardness'

You'll get the hang of it. What I suggest is to use your fingertips and press firmly while squeezing right below the head of your penis with your other hand until its empty. It takes much practice. I'm over 2 years in Coloplast Titan. I watched videos over and over simulating what I was seeing. Between the very hard bulb during inflation and many times not being able to deflate, I say it's par for the course. Today the bulb is soft and easy as ever and deflating is 2 seconds. You'll figure it out. Do you have one touch?

I concur with Alex. Give it time. If it deflates, it's deflating - the implant is probably VERY stiff yet.

Edit: Just noticed you posted just before me that you have a Touch pump. Obviously this pic won't apply.

I’ve just started cycling myself. Titan classic. Dr told me it will take a couple months to soften up and lay more downward over time. You really have to squeeze the deflate button hard and hold it hard until it starts to loosen up. And yes squeeze your penis as much as you can take as you deflate.

I would pump up as hard as I could and hold it there for 30-45 mins if that long, everyday. When I had my revision I still pump but just to get it pumped and then go back flaccid, generally do it in the hot shower.i only pump up now everyday is just to seat the valve, I remember the Titan would fill on its own I would deflate and give it a pump to try and seal the valve, guess that's why I do that now with the AMS, I have not experienced it yet with the AMS. (Inflation on its own). As far as pain, you will have it for awhile, do your pumping in a hot shower and get everything good and loose, skin pliable. It takes a little time especially the first time around.

My dr, and it seems many here as well, recommend 2 cycles a day 30-60 mins each for the first 3 months. After 10 mins or so, try adding a few pumps if possible as these are the pumps that do the most work in stretching it to gain the most size possible during these first 3 months. It will feel uncomfortable or even painful, but my dr said take the pain if you can.. "no pain, no gain".. it's like working out - the last few reps to failure are the ones that help your muscles grow the most.

I've got the Titan "touch" pump, and I have to say, it usually does not go into deflate mode. I press the button with one hand while I squeeze out my cock with the other hand. After a couple of years, I have figured out how to encourage it to go into touch mode, but it's still not reliable. Also, my cock does not drain itself even while I'm holding the button. It will get a little softer, but the size just doesn't change much unless I literally squeeze out the fluid. I put my fingers and heel of my hand on one side of my cock and squeeze with the fingers of the same hand on the other side.

All of this sounds kind of weird, but it becomes second nature in no time.

The trick I've found to encourage it to go into deflate mode is to squeeze the button hard, with the point of my finger poking right into it. I have my thumb opposite the button. I think that pushes the valve a little further back. And then while I'm squeezing my cock, I let up on the button. I think the motion of fluid through encourages the valve to stay open. If I do that, then sometimes it'll stay open and I can squeeze out my cock with both hands if I want.

I almost always give two quick squeezes on the bulb to put the valve back in lock-mode after draining, but I especially do that after putting it into deflate mode. I've noticed that if I don't do it right away after deflate mode, it can take a much harder squeeze later to push the valve back. Like it settles into place, and then it takes quite a hard squeeze on the first pump to get it inflating again.

I have no idea whether all of this is "normal" for the Titan. (I'd be curious to hear from others.) It's just my experience.

The key for me when deflating is to squeeze pretty hard right below the head of my penis and squeeze really tight. Works like a charm.
