After 1 year and 2 months, I want to have a tooth extracted. Is there a problem with the implant?

Call or email your implant surgeon. Ask if you should take prophylactic antibiotics before having a tooth extracted.

You’ll get a wide range of answers here but the one that matters most is the doc you trust.

My surgeon told me to hold off for 6 months, and after 6 months, he said no need for antibiotic prophylaxis. I didn't ask about doing it in less than 6 months. I think the recommendation will be different for every patient.

My surgeon said no problems since the 2nd month, but I'm asking about your experience

Here's American Dental Association's guidelines on Antibiotic Prophylaxis Prior to Dental Procedures. They have guidelines for those with prosthetic knee joints though.

https://www.ada.org/resources/ada-libra ... rophylaxis

...According to the ADA Chairside Guide, for patients with a history of complications associated with their joint replacement surgery who are undergoing dental procedures that include gingival manipulation or mucosal incision, prophylactic antibiotics should only be considered after consultation with the patient and orthopedic surgeon; in cases where antibiotics are deemed necessary, it is most appropriate that the orthopedic surgeon recommend the appropriate antibiotic regimen and, when reasonable, write the prescription.....

.....In medically compromised patients who are undergoing dental procedures that include gingival manipulation or mucosal inclusion, prophylactic antibiotics should be considered only after consultation with the patient and orthopedic surgeon. For patients with serious health conditions, such as immunocompromising diseases, it may be appropriate for the orthopedic surgeon to recommend an antibiotic regimen when medically indicated, as footnoted in the new chair-side guide."

From what I see my friend, no one has gone for extraction with an implant to answer from their experience

Also for cleaning and sealing no problem at least for me
