Pulling down on Pump

Postby Osprey_1 » Fri Mar 28, 2025 8:59 am

I an 5 days since implantation. I have directions to “Gently pull down” on the pump. My balls are swollen but not as bad as some accounts I’ve read about. My problem is that the swelling makes my balls/scrotum hard. It’s like trying to find the pump inside of a baseball. With difficulty, I’ve located the pump and have tried to pull down, but I’m not sure that I’m really doing anything because everything is so solid in there. Has anyone encountered this? When they say “gently pull down”, how far? How do you know when you’ve pulled it down enough? Since I’m having trouble grasping the pump, what are the implications if I can’t pull down?

Osprey, same here after my surgery, I emailed my doc and told him, I don't think I'm doing anything because I can barely touch it much less gently pull on it. He told me I am making a difference and to keep at it. Like you said above, I could barely get any fingers on the pump because it felt like a baseball. When I went to my next followup, he told me that I had done a good job.
They don't want the pump migrating to the top of the scrotum and possibly attaching to the side of the scrotum so you can't move it around to pump.

Thanks Sworks. By the way, I ride an Sworks too! I can’t wait to get back to it. Hopefully, my fears of not being comfortable on the saddle are unfounded. Did you have to adjust your riding for your new anatomy?
