Doctor says I only need to cycle 15 minutes once a day and that Perito exercises are not necessary.

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

Your doctor was an honest person to tell you this, even a child understands that by stressing the implant with that type of exercise, the implant being a mechanical device will tend to break long before its time, so if it breaks it will be you/me and all those who do this exercise who will have to do a check-up, no one will be able to trace why the device broke

When my doctor showed me how to inflate and deflate, he suggested I do that every day to keep the parts in good working condition.

He didn't say anything about being inflated for a particular length of time. Last year when I went for my annual checkup with him, he did say that staying inflated for excessive amounts of time could cause problems.

I've been inflating and deflating regularly as he suggested since I got the implant. Just recently it dawned on me that I look bigger than I used to look. Definitely longer, and maybe bigger around, too.

Perhaps others have also had this happen? I haven't made an effort to get bigger. It just seems to have happened over time. I'm not a lot bigger, but enough for me to notice.
