Revision with Prof. Osmonov, CXR to Titan

Hello,

I just wanted to make a post for young European guys who were looking for a revision.

With my primoimplantation I received AMS CXR 14+6 due to scarring on the left side of the penis. The penis head was unsupported and the girth was just not what it used to be. Girls would sometimes comment on it even though it was functional.

After 6 years with my AMS I underwent revision with Prof. Osmonov, he was able to dilate the corporal bodies enough to put in Coloplast Titan and add 2 cm in length. I can wholeheartedly recommend him to guys looking for a revision surgery.

The only downside was that some of the staff in the German hospital did not know English which made communication a little difficult as I know German only passively. All the doctors did speak English very well.

Thanks for the update! I'm curious, did he say why he chose to put 20+2 rte instad of a 22? I often wonder why doctors would choose to use RTE if the implant size is available in your measurement.

Extensions are a way for the surgeon to adjust the location of the tubes used to fill or empty the implant cylinders. Objective is to have that juncture just inside the scrotum. A 20 +2 will move that location relative to a 22 cm unit. I wish my surgeon did a better job on that as my tubes enter the cylinders on the bottom of my shaft.

Hrc714 nailed it . I think it just has to do with each individuals anatomy. If the crux ( root ) of the penis is deeper, the surgeon has to use RTE'S to properly place the tubes and pump . Dr. Clavell has a video on Rte's on YouTube that explains it in detail.

Hi Hrc , what do you mean "on the bottom of my shaft"? Do you mean you can feel the tubes going up your penis? Is it palpable by someone who would have sex with you for example?

I also can feel the tubes at the base of my penis, it's like a small ridge and i get the impression someoen could feel it if they do deep throat oral or deep penetration

I think also that the biological dimensions of the penis dictate number of RTEs. My tubes exit the corpora on the underside of the penis as well. You could feel them.
