Day 1 after duel imlants activated

I'm 43 days post op after duel implants (AMS 700 & AMS 800) (Prostate removal for cancer by surgery 18 months ago) I never recovered from serious incontinence issues, used a minimum of 5 pads a day. I found condom catheters and leg bag to be the lesser hassle of all evils and there was also the ED issue. Used pump, pills and others products. My Dr suggested he could make things a lot simpler by installing 2 implants in one operation. I am 74 military retired, my wife is 44. Had the implant procedure done at WPAFB Hospital in OH 4/1/14 and everything has gone good so far. The AMS 800 (artificial sphincter) had been locked in the open position since surgery. Dr activated it yesterday and I still used a pad and could have gotten with what I will call half of a pad. I have to work on timing once I open it to urinate it will automatically close in about 2 minutes. With the AMS 700 LGX I'm still a bit numb, but pumping it up was no problem (my wife thought it was early Xmas) It looks like happy days are back again.
