One year anniversary today

Postby JDavid » Wed Jun 25, 2014 7:18 pm

All is good. I wish I had done it sooner.
I am sixty-six years of age and dealing with gradually worsening ED for twenty years. At sixty-three I wanted something that worked reliably. I got an AMS 700 LGX implant in 6/25/13. I am entirely pleased with the outcome. My surgeon was Dr. Karpman.

Glad to hear all is fine. Have you had any problems or things you don't like about it after a year ?

Few things in life are perfect but in the balance I am very pleased. My recovery was quick and uneventful. I really like my surgeon.

Ok, you veterans. Sitting on couch with an ice pack on my one month old Titan implant installed (5/28/14) by Dr. Allen Morey of Dallas. Swelling down, it gets sore at days end even though I have great fiting briefs. Perhaps keeping it straight up by adjusting frequently is causing the soreness but I'm tired of it.
Guys, tell me this gets better and when and that all this inconvenience will go away soon. Inflation date is 07/07/14.

TEBozo,
If the swelling is truly gone (it should be) then do away with the ice packs ... instead try a warm bath and/or a rice sock.

Where is the soreness? ... scrotum or the shaft? No need to really kept the shaft pointing up at this point. That was only to help prevent swelling right after surgery.

I'll try the rice sock as the heat feels good. Its in the penis, not the scrotum. My theory is that 1) I am still healing even at 28 days out and 2) Dr. Morey gave me as long of an apparatus as he could and the bump on the side of my shaft is just from the tube. I am hanging in their and optimistic.

can't wait to use it. really. I am dying over here.

TEBozo,
Yup ... that "bump" you feel is a fold in the cylinder ... most guys find that if you add just a pump or two ... the fold will go away. After a while (6 months) you will not even notice the folds, etc.

Yes it gets a lot better I am working on my 7th month now and it is completely normal. My big turning point was between the 4th and 5th week, I was amazed at the changes. If you want to talk my address is below. I went from 3.5 inches out of the hospital to now 6.5 :D
