Corpora cavernosa still in place after implant

Postby richard_goes_bionic » Tue Jul 22, 2025 12:34 am

Hi, some doctors use this technics and place the tubes beside the corpora cavernosa instead of removing it.
This means you should still get at least some natural erection and should give you additional girth too.
Has anyone this type of surgery and whats your experience.

Which doctor is using this technique, cause usually the corpora cavernosa are taken out to built a space for the cylinders.

I hope these two links end the dispute over con-artist Adham Zaazaa's con article (the first surgeon to come up with this nonsense) claiming sparing cavernosal tissue is possible and beneficial.

Unfortunately and I don't know why alot of "high volume" surgeons follow this gimmick.

Cause the surgeon creates the space for the cylinders, for this he removes the tissue and when the cylinders fit exactly into the capsula cavernosa, there is no reason to leave the not intact corpora cavernosa inside.

This is the paper that suggested this technique and alot of surgeons blindly followed when it's lacking common sense I don't know why.

I would like to give you insights on Adham zaazaa the author of this article.

Zaazaa claims that he uses laser for dissection, uses sterellium for disinfection, surgical telescope for better view, golden surgical tools for infection prevention. He even says he puts pulse oximeter(the one intended for measuring o2 sat from fingers) on glans (which has different blood supply than corpora cavernosa) DURING the operation to make sure he's preserving cavernosal arteries. He even claims that he does penile doppler post surgery that shows intact cavernosal arteries( run in the middle of corpus cavernosa). He says much more worse but the list would be too long if i continued and says if your surgeon doesn't do these he ain't giving you the best results. It's just a marketing trick to attract more customers..AND he's coloplast center of excellence by the way ( for those who cheerlead and lick arses all the way).

The catastrophy is that alot of surgeons were lured by his argument..and unfortunately this made alot of doctors to dilate less (in an effort to "preserve" cavernous tissue) and this lead to alot of undersizing, droopy glans and revisions..undersizing by itself makes implant wobbly and dysfunctional for physical reasons and it's not just a problem of size loss.

Again some doctors bring it up in their videos and to patients to make them feel good...from a marketing or a empathetic standpoint or both...that doesn't mean the surgery will be bad...it's just statement independent of the surgeon's skill. However it's impossible to "preserve" cavernosal tissue as explained in the videos.

And Dan i'm waiting for your repsonse to why you instantly bullshited this without an argument..you are 67 years for god's sake you should be wiser and more respectful.

I'm really confused when you said complete BS was that for me or the technique ?

For the technique, there is no reason to leave corpora cavernosa, which doesn't function, behind.
