To get an implant - question about length

I have decided to get an implant and visited my doctor today. Should be this September. The doctor pulled out my flaccid penis and said the implant would be that long. I came home and measured it in the same manner as he pulled it and it was about 4". When I pump, the erection length is 5 1/4". The doctor told me to keep pumping without a ring daily to stretch it prior to implant. He also said the implant could be extended 2 cm if need be.
I'm kinda thinking the implant should be able to extend me to 5" or 5 1/4" if it can be stretched to that length when pumping. I would like to have the extra length, if even for my ego.
Any thoughts on this?

Hi James. The expected length with an implant is the length you can stretch your penis manually prior the surgery. With a vacuum device you also get engorgement of the Corpus Spongiousum which is not affected by the implant. The extenders of the implant helps to fit it to your size, it won´t increase it.
