Today is my first consult. The ball is rolling. I'll have to commit to doing it today to reserve a surgery day.
What should I ask?

My only question when I look in the mirror every morning is: Why didn’t I do this 10 years earlier? Best of luck on getting your on-demand bionic cock.

GPaFixesA!!1, there are a lot of considerations that go into the decision about an implant. Below are a couple of lists of topics from other members worth reviewing :

Day 1 of Recovery (Tue 9/9/25):
- After the surgery I was heavily mummy wrapped/gauzed and sent home in a medical jockstrap.
- First thing in the morning, I deflated the catheter balloon and pulled that thing out. To be honest, most of my pain was coming from the discomfort of the catheter. It was a relief to have it out. Pulling it out was strange/unusual but not that painful. Just a very weird feeling.
- I took toradol 10mg once in the morning and once before bed.
- I also took Bactrim (SMX/TMP 800MG-160MG) once in the morning and once before bed.
- Pain is very manageable. To be honest I expected it to be much worse.
- I spent most the day in bed, but was able to get up and go to the bathroom and grab stuff from the kitchen just fine.
- Minimal bruising and minimal swelling.
- Implant was penoscrotal and scrotum was medically glued back together.
- 80% inflated.
Day 2 of Recovery (Wed 9/10/25):
- Pretty much identical to day Day 1. Minimal pain, minimal bruising.
- Toradol 10mg in the morning and at night.
- Bactrim 800mg-160mg once in the morning and at night.
- Stayed in bed mostly and watched a lot of movies.
- 80% inflated
Day 3 of Recovery (Thu 9/11/25):
- Had my post-op follow up. Learned that I was implanted with a 24cm Coloplast Titan.
- Dr Charles Osterberg is great. He was very happy with the results he is seeing. Mainly the fact that there is minimal bruising and very little swelling. He deflated me and we rescheduled a meeting a week from 9/11 to meet again and begin cycling.
- He told me over the next week to make sure I am feeling around and getting used to the bulb (pump) and deflate area.
- Deflated
Day 4 of Recovery (Fri 9/12/25):
- Walked 1/2 mile today with no issues whatsoever.
- No longer re-wrapping myself with gauze every time I pee. Just letting the thing dangle deflated in my Under Armour briefs.
- Still taking Bactrim twice daily but no longer need the Toradol for pain. I didn't take anything for pain this morning but will probably take some Advil just as a precautionary for tonight.
All in all, the recovery has been much easier for me than I expected. I know it doesn't go this way for everyone, so I consider myself lucky so far.
The only thing that was a bit of a challenge was figuring out how to go #2 when I was inflated, post-op. I ended up sitting on the toilet with my penis sticking straight out and holding a bucket in front of myself, peeing in the bucket while doing my business in the toilet. Sorry if that's graphic, but something I hadn't seen covered yet.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

What should I ask?
- Depends on where you are in your journey. I'm assuming you've been using ED pills such as Viagra or Cialis?
- Have you tried Trimix? If it were an option for you, would you be comfortable injecting your penis?
- Have you considered IPP vs Malleable? Have you read about pros/cons of different models?
Let us know what questions you have and I'm sure we can help answer alongside your doctor.
