Dr Rowland Rees Implant London

Postby Irish Lad 34 » Sat Oct 04, 2025 7:17 pm

I tried an appointment with max strength injections mixed with 100mg Viagra this evening and I couldn't sustain an erection.

After 2 years and 3 months of miserable life-changing devastating erectile dysfunction that's me done.

I am deciding now to book an implant. The base of my penis is ruined and my venous leak is never going to get better.

I have been consulting with Dr Rowland Rees in London. He might be able to implant me in November.

I believe is a very good and very experienced surgeon.

If anyone has knowledge or experience of him please share it with me.

Obviously I am worried about problems such as infection, erosion, size loss, malfunction etc.

Which hospital are you seeing him at? On NHS?
Mid 30s. UK. ED since mid teens. Done the pills, injections, P Shot, Gainswave, ESWT shockwave.

Now preparing to take the plunge under care of Professor Ralph at UCLH. Planning on a Rigicon Infla10 AX with Pulse pump.

Good for you, continuing to pursue this.

Regarding size loss, I’m convinced that part of the reason for my easy recovery and good results with size were due to using a VED everyday. I also think using a tension device helped. (I used the Phallosan Forte. See my journal post in my signature for more details) But I think 95% of it was the VED and 5% the tension devise.

From now until surgery I would pump up in a VED to the point of SLIGHT discomfort, NOT pain. Stay pumped up for a few minutes. Deflate. Pump up again. If you can only do 15 minutes total fine. If you can do more, even better. If you have broken blood vessels, or puffy edema swelling of your penis afterward don’t use so much pressure.

It stretches the tissue out and (I believe) gives the surgeon the easiest time measuring you for the correct, largest size cylinder for your anatomy.
57yo, NYC. ED started at 40. Pills, then shots for 10 years. 24cm Coloplast Titan XL w/classic pump by Dr Eid 3/25/2025. Will meet for show & tell.

It will either be Winchester or London. I emailed his secretary yesterday and he still hasn't replied.

I will go to whichever hospital is cheaper.

I am from Ireland and I will be going private. I am trying to get my health insurance in Ireland to cover about 70% of the costs. I will have to pay about 6k myself out of pocket, if my Irish Health insursnce covers 70%. If I can't get cover I'll have to take out a loan to pay for it. I'd rather not do it in Ireland because we only have 1 experienced implant surgeon here and although I like him, he said I should expect to be 1 - 2cm shorter with an implant, whereas Dr Rees told me that I will lose little to no length.

Thanks. I used to always pump to the point of it being swollen and plump. I will avoid doing that. I will try to pump every day for 10 - 15 minutes and I will take Viagra and shots every week too to keep the tissue stretched. Hopefully everything goes well for me from this point on.

It always amazes my how fortunate we are in the UK to have access to world class healthcare professionals for free.

We really dont appreciate it enough.

Do you know much about Rowland Rees? None of his patients are here.
