I think what you say makes total sense. I'm not as big as you, but even at 7.25 x 5.5 I have a lot of the same problems. I also have a hard time reaching orgasm because of my antidepressant (which I couldn't live without). But often that means my girlfriends are sore, and I don't always get to finish.
