I sure hope so Scott!

Day 17 post op:

Hit another mini milestone today - the wound protector is OFF. Scar looks fine, things coming along smoothly.

Urethral discomfort improvements: I’m noticing the urethral discomfort has started MARGINALLY improving - and so has sitting discomfort.

Gentle “bending”: so I’m not ACTIVELY trying to bend the implant, I’m waiting until Week 4 to formally start. But I’ve been very gently trying to “work” the implant - not formally bending at where I think the hinge is, but pushing the implant slowly and gently down to 5 o clock position, and then slowly and gently pushing it up towards 2 o clock to get the implant back to around 3 o clock overall.

When I gently push the implant down towards 5 o clock, I’m noticing that it will naturally come back to about 4 o clock position. It normally sits around 3 o clock, so this is promising to me, because one thing that makes me anxious is of course the fear that my Rigi10 won’t bend into a position where I can comfortably conceal it. I know that supportive underwear will be a huge aid too.

Things are going well overall. Hope everyone has a great Friday night!

Day 18 post op - afternoon:

No major updates yet today. Just relaxing this Saturday watching some shows and researching underwear  going to pick up a bunch of different options and figure out what works best for me. As I’ve understood it, there will be a lot of trial and error between my underwear choices + trouser combinations. Looking forward to doing a write up on that part of my journey in a few weeks time, so I can hopefully help “accelerate” things for future malleable patients. We’ll see how it all goes!

On size and appearance:

Even though I’ve lost a SMALL amount of length and girth, I have to say - now that I’m healing and swelling is subsiding, I really like how my dick is looking. As I’ve mentioned - I’m on the smaller end of the size spectrum, coming in at right around 4.5 inches length and 4.75 inches girth - but man, the implant is really making things look good in the mirror  and honestly? It really doesn’t look ANY different to me visually than what my “best” erections looked like pre-implant. And it will keep looking better as I continue my weight loss regiment too, and as my body proportions change relative to my penis 8-)

And for those who have been asking for pictures - I do think I’ll end up sharing some later on in my journey, after things heal up. Most likely on my “six month” check in post or something like that.

Day 19 post op - morning:

Soreness: so yesterday, I was SLIGHTLY more active doing some chores around my apartment. I also sat on my couch for a longer stretch than normal in shorts (up until yesterday, I’ve been spending MOST my time naked in bed  ). I think all this made me a bit more sore overall last night, I noticed it before going to sleep. This morning though, I think it’s mostly back to baseline. Goes to show that healing is a dynamic process. Feeling good overall that even under a slightly increased set of demands compared to previous days, my body was able to handle it.

Going to watch some Winter Olympics today and chill out. Hope everyone is doing good this Sunday!

Thanks Duke. I’m also starting to reach a point where the abstaining from masturbation is starting to get under my skin  the iconic feather story from your journal comes to mind.

Staying patient though and just focusing on reaching Week 4 to start working on my bending and concealing milestone. Healing is priority 1 right now.
